How I play roulette is I do everything wrong.
I immerse my bet selection in gambler's fallacy then hedge every single bet I make with chips on zero and every other position that would cause me to lose. Sometimes the hedging helps and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it wins outright.
Finally, I use a progression that mostly just goes up regardless of winning or losing bets until I'm in profit.

I don't agree, you can use and explore the EC as three states to unfold with 1 in 3 probability and get the same bias and dominations as two dozen hits for 5, 10 , 15, 20 , 25 , 30 times in a row.
Is not hokus pokus , easy to explain and make trending more fun as you can base you selection method on the real thing.
We can measuring each state and use math and probability to understand the variance strength.
Plus the house edge is only 1.35% with La Partage Rule

As i see it - it depends on some ones knowledge and understanding about random bits.
I develop this method before i read about NOR from BTC and develop my own method.

So that every one would move from EC to numbers is not true.
It all depends on wish level and knowledge you have to tackle the EC.

Common patterns and with or against is a dead end, but there is so much more to it then that.

    Cheers

Unfortunately there's no way to get an edge over the casino by playing on the outside. This means that charting the ECs is pointless.

What is different playing numbers, are you saying that you can get an edge playing numbers without using physics/visual ballistics.
Outside bets is not more or less random and independent then numbers, so Charting and tracking should be pointless playing both numbers and outside bets following your argument.
None should produce an edge or positive expectation.
