Yes, close to that without having to worry about being jailed. The thief was, sad to say, brilliant.

Frank Scoblete - On September 20, 2002 you participated in a Las Vegas Craps Seminar with Steve "Heavy" Haltom and Thom "Irishsetter" Morgan at which was distributed to participants a copy of a book titled "How to Control Fair Dice". In this book on page 15 is a discussion about how dice can be unbalanced.

However, in your latest book and in all your writings that I have seen - especially since your 2004 book "Craps Underground: The Inside Story of How Dice Controllers are Winning Millions from the Casinos!", I never once seen you discuss biased dice ?!? How can you discuss Advantage Play and Dice Control without ever discussing biased dice ??

Can you give me a page number of which book or article you discuss biased dice.

In fact, all dice tossing schools except Heavy's discuss the use of biased dice in casinos, including your former partner Howard Rock n' Roller who has hired me to teach many of his students about the use of unbalanced dice in casinos. Even GTC has invited me to do a demonstration of biased dice in their June Las Vegas seminar.

.... Does Frank's new book address the use of unbalanced dice in live casinos ??!!! .... Or does the retired craps player even realize that his exaggerated tales of craps winnings about the Captain and the Arm are probably the number 1 reason for the proliferation of unbalanced dice in casinos due to his fairy tale book 11 years ago announcing how dice controllers are taking millions from the casinos ??!!!

HARLEY: Does Frank's new book address the use of unbalanced dice in live casinos ??!!!

    FRANK: No.

HARLEY: Or does the retired craps player even realize that his exaggerated tales of craps winnings about the Captain and the Arm are probably the number 1 reason for the proliferation of unbalanced dice in casinos due to his fairy tale book 11 years ago announcing how dice controllers are taking millions from the casinos ??!!!

FRANK: No exaggerated tales. No fairy-tale book. The Captain, Jimmy P. and the Lee Brothers' group won millions (not in a day or week but over a career). I am pretty sure the Arm may be in there too. I do have the events about the Captain, the Arm and Jimmy P. in my new book I Am a Dice Controller: Inside the World of Advantage-Play Craps.

I am not retired. I just left GTC as my book explains. I still play, usually with Jerry "Stickman," but not 130 days a year. I'm spending more time travelling and writing non-casino articles and books.

Frank, do you believe that many major casinos are purposely secretly using biased dice, as Harley alleges?
    If not why not?

zengrifter - whether the casinos are employing biased dice on purpose or not is irrelevant ... the point is that any observant patron can find unbalanced dice in play more than 10 times the normal acceptable error rate .... so either American and Indian casino quality control employees are the worst in the world or they do it on purpose -- you decide

Frank Scoblete - have you ever used a dice balancing caliper properly for more than an hour in your life with either real casino dice or the dice that you sold at GTC ? (I am not going to ask zengrifter the same question because he doesn't play craps)

Harley I already answered your questions when you asked them about a month ago.

Do I think the casinos use unbalanced dice? I would say "no" but maybe a small "yes." I do not think the dice are purposely and grossly biased. Very few things are perfect but are the dice imperfect enough to actually cause a game to strip the players of money? The games' house edges are more than enough to do that. In my 25 years of play I just haven't seen it. Or, if I had, I never noticed it. It certainly hasn't affected my results as far as I can see.

Frank, IMO your expertise is literary in nature and not numerical analysis ... OTOH, my expertise is numerical analysis as a CPA .... that is the only way I can explain that you were not able to notice that Bellagio on that night were using seriously biased dice AND it did affect your results

    Harley,

How many dice throws do you need to see in order to determine that the dice are biased?

How do casinos determine what kind of bias they want?

We have Chicken Feeders, Random Rollers, Dice Setters, Dice Controllers, Dice Influencers, Advantage Player, numerous sets:3V, 2V, Straight 6's, Parallel 6's, All 7, Cross 6's, 5665, 1231, 1232, On Axis, Off Axis, PARR, LJ, Dr. Z, Magic, seminars, books, videos, blogs, message boards, now live online SKYPE, all are presented as a way to assist the end user to play a better game. Just my opinion but I think the terms Dice Controllers, Dice Influencers are taken to literally by both side of the argument. Who would you be more likely to bet on: Someone who just stands there and hurls the dice here there and everywhere, or someone who had a firm stance, took the time to set the dice the same way, threw the dice in a uniform matter, where the dice repeatedly landed in the same general area with the same force and hit the back wall then bounce off and took 1 or 2 additional rolls before coming to a rest and kept making one or two numbers repeating? The first shooter is just shooting not trying just shooting. Maybe they'll make some money. The second shooter is taking what training they have perfected and is also trying to make some money. If shot A isn't working then they might go to shot B or try to modify their shot. The first shooter has no idea what he is doing can't read what the dice are giving, has no idea if the table conditions just keeps on shooting. SR has it right when he suggested all bets are off once the dice hit the table, and they are really off after they hit the back-wall, but a DC or a DI should be-able to read what the dice are giving them and make the necessary corrections. Just my opinion, I believe we attempt to control the dice the best we are able to do, which will help influence the dice to produce the numbers we want to see. If this isn't the case then we should all become Chicken Feeders, because nothing we do matters. Oh and before I forget Harley is 100% correct about the dice, it is not that they are bad, they just are not manufactured 100% perfectly; either intentionally, or processing methods, or human error. We know it, the manufacture knows it, the casino knows it. And everyone is capable of a PSO. Yahtzee dice anyone?.

Chicken Feeders... LOL. Thanks Pressit for getting us up to date with dice history:
"Evidence of this universal playfulness goes deep into the past. Surprisingly, some of its manifestations have stayed recognizably similar over the millennia, such as dice and board games.
It may seem odd that so specific a phenomenon as dice should have its origin in antiquity, and yet that is true not only of the concept but of the precise form. The earliest dice known date to the second half of the third millennium B.C.E.; they come from the Indus Valley culture, in present-day Pakistan, and from Mesopotamia in the Early Dynastic III period (c. 2500–2300 B.C.E.). These ancient specimens look very much like modern dice, and some of them have dots arranged in the modern way (with dots on opposite sides adding up to seven). The Mesopotamians continued to play with dice in the second and first millennia B.C.E.; a late example from Babylon is even made of glass. Further west, in Palestine and Egypt, various shapes were experimented with, but the “modern” cubical shape and dot arrangement is also attested, for example in dice recovered in excavations at Ashkelon."

Over the years I have bought a number of craps related educational products, DVDs, books, online videos and the like, but the best video for lighting, clarity and content of picture had to be GTC's DVDs.

Having said that since then, although he never made a commericaly product to my knowledge, I think Ahigh's videos just knocks them out of the park. There are just simply amazing.

    Wishing all a Happy Easter.

The reason the biased dice scenario persists is because the people that claim the dice are biased tend to suck at math, and are too overwhelmed with conspiracy theories to actually collect enough data to prove some statistical significance.

The same goes for DI and DC.

There really have been DI/DCs. Remember the Wynn incident? People like Leo Hernandez have exploited dice control. Unfortunately it's not what you're learning at the seminars, and I suspect that he doesn't wear a little pin on his shirt or have a secret handshake to prove that he's a DI/DC.

Look at the thumb of Scobe's buddy as he shoots. What is the thumb doing to control the axis or controlling anything else?

Thanks Frank. But the casinos in the country where I live won't let anyone set the dice, the bastards.

I note there is a veritable army out there who are seriously cynical about the DI/DC claim by anyone. I don't know Scobe personally, never met him but he claims to have mastered the dice... and to have won substantial casino money over a long period which also included lots of being booted from casinos. I believe what Frank says. So how would I guess he's telling the truth?

Firstly, his writings usually resonate with a ring of truth about them... more so between the lines, which is the true test. Secondly, he was a school teacher for 33 years and taught over 6000 students. I note from his Facebook he has a rather large following of former students who say wonderful things about the great teacher he was and the very positive effects he had on their lives. With his Frankie Army vouchsafing the high level of his integrity, ethics, values and morals, what better references could anybody ask? Frank Scoblete for President 2016...

Listen, Regardless of the Haters... I like & Respect Frank. I find the Guy to be a True Gentleman. NEVER loses his cool when being Viciously attacked. The type of "Calm" needed to Maintain Composure & Influence the Dice. Frank does as he says. Told me the same exact thing: Send me your address & I'll mail you a copy of My book... Free of Charge. He Did! Frank's toss is as Good as I've ever witnessed( The "Prettiest" being from his cohort, Jerry stickman). As far as The $51,000 being "Lifted" From Frank......Seems that Frank was too trusting of a So-called Friend. Shit Happens! The Problem with dice Influencing is that MOST equate it to "Tossing Long Hands". It's always "Well He/She only tossed a 9 roll hand. What the naysayers fail to realize is the "Repeaters contained within the hand. 5pt, 6,8,9,10,6,8,4,6,7out is considered Mundane. Look at what the 3v, 6 & 8 Dice Influencer accomplished. Five paying numbers in that relatively short Hand. Dice influencing is more than just tossing long hands. Personally I'm happy to consistently hit two or three of my numbers. You make money WITHOUT the Unnecessary "Heat" that's given to the DI that tosses the Long Hands. Let's use Dominator's toss in the video Posted. As a Pit Boss, there's Absolutely NO way I'd let him continue to rake in money at my table with a rehearsed toss as such. I'd do EVERYTHING within reason to run his ass off of my table. Especially if I happen to be one of those Pit Bosses that "Sweat" the Money AS IF it's Mine! now, if He happened to be a imposter or Wannabe DI that was shooting the same way & losing........ Who gives a shit? Kinda Hard to Hide your skill IF(I DID say If) You're the real Deal. How do you determine if it's the "Real Deal"? Repeaters, Baby...... Repeaters.
