Misc Jhandi Munda

Hi,
Anyone played Indian street game Jhandi Munda in real before?
I saw on street while i travel to India but no chance to play, wondering anyone could explain how to play?

 

Jhandi Munda is a simple game played with six, six sided dice. There are six different symbols on each of the sides of the dice (these are a heart, a spade, a diamond, a club, a face and a flag). Players bet on which symbol will appear face up the most after any throw. The dice are then rolled and the symbol that appears most often wins. A tie is also a win.

I was curious how do thy pay the odds? Is it 1 : 1
Do u mean when there is an equal symbols is a tie?
Example 2 hearts , 2 spades , 1 flag , 1 diamond

 

Plus I saw some players fold their notes putting cross between the line, as my understanding thy split placing 2 symbols with a single note. Am I getting it correct?
