I have seen a ton of movies in my time. If you put Split at 9.5, then where do you squeeze in movies like Saving Private Ryan OR The Godfather? Split was not a bad film but I have to rate in accordingly with other movies as well.

Did you notice the reference to Unbreakable at the end?

    SPOILER@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

i rate it based on the genre of movie. I can rate a book written by woody allen highly for its category.,,,,even though its not Grapes of Wrath.
    Totally different categories

Yes the last 5 seconds makes the move from being total garbage to being valid.
Without thelast 5 seconds you feel gyped saying to yourself....How does a man defy gravity climbing up walls and ceilings anf getting shot point blank in the stomach not once but twice. Until you find out that it takes place in a comic book super hero world. And That makes the actions in the movie valid. That explains things
M night movies usually have alot of holes. This one is well crafted and pretty tight.

keep in mind,,,the train station....possibly kevins father dies in a train accident..hence the flowers.....and what did mr glass create???..a train accident...

    big tie in

This is the part I was a bit confused on, I'm glad you saw the film......I thought this guy turned into the devil himself (The Beast was his name)?

the beast was his 24th personality that evolved.....Kevin is emerging as in charge along with Dennis and Patrica...those 3 are allwoing the beast to emerge. As Barry(the more normal personality that was visiting the doctor) has been buried for the last 2 -3 years with Kevin pretending to be him.

as per the Dr..there was an incident where 2 girls sexually teased Barry at the zoo(but barry has been held down by kevin for a couple years...remember at the end Barry asks...isnt this 2013). So the girls actually teased the more dangerous Kevin.

Kevin who was abused by a horrible mother after his father was killed in a train accident and the dad wasnt around to protect him.

Periodically throughout the movie you hear growling....making me think that maybe this is going to be a monster movie with a real beast. But then at the end it becomes clear we were hearing real animals at the zoo.

Then we wonder how a guy can take 2 shotgu n shells in his stomach

But then we realize its in the comic book world of superhearos and villains.......where we now have a mentally ill verson of the bruce willis character on the loose

mR GLASS from unbreakable...in the very last sence of unbreakable is said to be in a mental prison hospital......I can see Kevin being caught and sent to the same mental hospital....and the 2 team up. Its already been established that the beast can bent jail bars.

I think, for me, this movie was well crafted, and everything progressed to the brilliant ending. An ending that turned eveything I previously watched upside down and made me rethink it all.

So I thought this was cool, thinking throughout, is this a kidnapping movie where the monster is the afflicted man. is this a classic monster movie where a real beast appears. and then finding out that its neither. The ultimate "twist"

The Founder >> 7 (this movie reminded of The Social Network. Pure, ruthless business tactics).

John Wick is only 2 >>3? It's a typo! Surely you meant to say 6 to 7!

Suggestion: Change from microwave popcorn to air pop, and use real butter. It tastes better. Consequently the movies will seem better as well.

While I enjoyed watching both John Wick films, I can understand how critics would pan them as formulaic, shallow and filled with cliches.

Still, that Wick guy has mad killing skills, and it is no coincidence that his targets are typically members of the so-called Evil Empire.
