Poker KJ suited near bubble

Blinds are 4K/8K with 1k ante. I have 80k. It is folded to me on the SB. I have KJ spades.

I raised to 20k. BB shoved. He had been an aggressive player who had been either shoving or folding. Hadn't seen him show cards yet.

Should I have open shoved? Should I fold now? Should I have folded in the first place. I would have likely made the money but any shot at a deep run would have been gone with a fold in the first place or at this point. I figured I was now behind but most likely in a close race.
