Yup, all that kitchens-tables testings is a wonderful thing, huh, hey hey!!??

 

I’m a flat bettor, but people willing to try progressions, might be interested in the conservative Samonte System, which is designed to exploit favorable spikes in variance, and not leave you deep in the hole if you lose.

I have it on Kindle, but he has since taken it off Amazon and offers it on his website.

Another forum member, is familiar with it.

For example, if you win fourteen Banker bets in a row, flat betting $15 per hand, and lose the fifteenth bet, you would end up winning $130, minus commissions.

If you started with the same $15 bet and used the Samonte system for the same hands, you would end up winning $1,800, minus commissions.

The first three bets are flat bets. If you lose any one of those bets after the second win, you would still lock in some kind of win.

Asking for two WIAR is asking a lot and sometimes impossible. If two WIAR were easy then everybody would be using parlay progressions. I’ve tapped out many times trying to win two fucking hands in a row.

 

Go back and read the entire "For Kicks and Giggles" thread for a sure winner relying on 2 WIAR.

2 WIAR not a rare event. 2 WIAR is the backbone of my preferred progression BUT... I would never use it on a straight linear UAYL progression. That, IMO, is doomed.

2 WIAR with my progression lowers risk overall. Especially once the bet has increased. Then again 1 WIAR works for mine a lot of times. I don’t count on it but it happens. 3 WIAR is something I don’t see as often.

 

Hard to sit there flat and watch 4,5,6, + WIAR go by! I don't. But because I use a NP it works out a little different for me. I generally will start 123 NP and if lose 3 IAR I am in recoup so 2 WIAR there will just make me restart. But. . . if I am ahead then after 2 WIAR I will increase my bet by a small % and if win I will flat bet that increase. If win again then I am going to continue to bump up. As soon as i lose then I restart 123. Winning 4 or IAR is not a rare event for me. Guessing I think I see at least 4 or 5 1 out of 4 shoes at least. Something like that.

So the above UAYW stuff is important but it is difficult to make it into a mechanical one way fits all method. Perhaps use it to taste based on the current situation.
