LovePotion9 has refused to cooperate with our Sock Puppet Investigation

How would you know this?
I'm more than a little concerned that I, a new member less than a month old, can throw out a flippant, what I thought was a minor personal attack and all of a sudden another member gets in trouble and a whole new board is created to explain and do damage control.
Admin can see my posting history, they know I've been more than short with a few members and basically an ass. But I don't see how they can take such quick action on my comments, that honestly, I didn't know would trigger this and my accusations are based on total speculation and stated to just tick off that member.

The only good thing about this, is we get to see some of the underbelly of GR and decision makings. I don't think I've been on this forum long enough to be given any credibility in the first place. Let alone shut down someones account. I'm going say, something else was going on already and maybe the forum used my posts as an excuse or justification to finally get something done that they wanted to for a while.

No, there's more to the story. C'mon, there's not a single member on this forum that's going to take me, less than a month new member bigmouth seriously. No one. Why should admin.

 

Well, I guess that makes me feel better. I'm glad that I'm not directly responsible for complicating another members account, and that admin agrees I'm a ass devoid of any credibility. Can only go up from here. Thanks for the response.
And no KJ, I only read wov and don't post over there. I actually started reading the reviews and some gambling threads on wov.
But did read your saga.

 

How do I know nate???? Because that's the loophole in the system.
If someone doesn't care if their thoughts get attached to a name and just wants to get facts and opinions posted....then using the proxy system allows that and knowing the original ip is useless
It's a fact.
However if the admin does what he says...and continues to ask for ips...as he responded...then that takes care of the issue or the work around I described​

What was funny about that wasn't bluechow's question, but Weasel's reaction. You could just see the steam coming out of his big ears at the mention of my handle, with the "I'm watching you" comment.

 

Imagine this scenario
1 - lp9 is banned from wov....learns proxy use and starts a thread as bluechow
2 - after all the uproar...blue chow comes here but not using proxies because that would show 2 people on one thread using proxies...so he uses his regular ip.

3 - bluechow posts here for a while
4- lp9 gets asked to post real ip
5- this would link bluechow to him so he doesn't cooperate and threatens to take people with him as he walks out the door

If there is a sock puppet it's not me or freddie or kj. And everyone else on the thread is either middle of the road or pro wov.
The only one left is bluechow...you know the guy that appeared out of thin air.when the kj thread at wov was created.

 

Wow, LarryS. This seems like a lot of speculation and guessing. I don't say that to defend bluechow. He can defend himself (or herself). Or maybe he can't....I don't even know who is here and who isn't anymore. I hope he/she is.

Funny thing about the bluechow at WoV incident. I wasn't unhappy to read the question. I thought it was a legit question that deserved an answer. I also enjoyed Weasels little fit of a response to the question. I immediately wondered who bluechow was? Whether he was someone I knew as a different identity (handle) from one of the sites, or whether he was truly just someone that sort of knew half the story and asked a legitimate question only to be treated poorly.

During private communications with Weasel at that time, that were still on fairly civil terms, I even asked Mike who he thought it might be. I was shocked when he said he originally thought it might be me. I guess I am a little naïve on these kinds of things. It never occurred to me that anyone would think that until he said so. Of course then I realized probably others thought that as well. Not that it matters all that much.

 

Of course you weren't KJ, everyone had just forgot about you and all the drama, it was great timing. .

Kj..of course it's speculation....I figured you were smart enough to realize that from my first sentence .
Just saying if if if ...There is a sock puppet that prevented lp9 from giving ip....that's my guess via process of elimination...bluechow. and I gave the reason why...just from the process of elimination.
And the fact that his story changed as the admin posted leads me to think there was more reason for his exit than just leaving on principle

 

Of course it's a sock puppet and Freddy can't fix it so thank god he is gone and good riddance
