What I love about mickey crimm's "AP math" is the way nothing costs anything. For example, to get a Diamond match for Wyndham status (and I am a fan of the Wyndham program), all you must do is stay 40 nights. I mean, 40 nights costs nothing, right? They probably pay mickey to stay there, to help them with their accounting. LOL. Unfortunately, they require me to pay them. Seems discriminatory.

Thus, if you're not an "AP" celebrity, those 40 nights came with a cost of $3200 or, more likely, $4000 if you include taxes, fees, and those icky resort fees.

So that "matching status" at CET didn't exactly come "free." I notice the "AP" definition of free is a curious one. I humbly submit that Mr. Rob Singer has given way more lectures on "AP accounting" than I have, so I leave the floor to him or his hundreds of previous posts on various forums regarding the subject.

Deadbeat Dietz' noggin is working overtime to try and discredit me. He reminds me of Wile E. Coyote

The Wyndam credit card will get you Diamond Status at CZR. The card has a $95 a year charge. So that would be the upfront cost. Not 40 nights at Wyndam Hotels. But put $2000 in charges on the card in 90 days and you get 45,000 Wyndam Hotel points. If you are a traveler like me it's a pretty good deal. The 2K is expense money I spend anyway. The points are worth about $300.

But the other option was to use my Wyndam Diamond status to get the CZR Diamond Card. I've been Wyndam Diamond for a long time. It was a no brainer. Just go online to my CZR account, give them my Wyndam Diamond number, and boom, I'm CZR Diamond.

I went ahead and ordered the credit card anyway. Very good deal for the first year. It'll be in the mail the next time I'm home.

If I wasn't Wyndam Diamond I would have went the credit card route. So I have no cost in getting the Diamond Card and am currently $1800 in the black against CZR.

I don't remember what caused it but Wyndam gave me Diamond Status after just 20 paid nights. But those paid nights cannot be called an expense to get CZR Diamond. They were normal expenses I incur while on the road. I would have spent the money irregardless of CZR. And actually didn't know anything about CZR then because I hadn't played them in more than 15 years.

Mr. V, I put up a list of advantage slots at Chinook Winds and Spirit Mountain a few months ago but the administrator moved it to the advantage play section under advantage play slots to make sure you wouldn't see it. Here's the link:

    https://www.gamblingforums.com/threads/heres-a-list-of-exploitable-slots.24893/

If you are walking thru those casinos you are walking right by these machines.

But he is required by his wife to inform her if he wins or loses in those casinos! Or else!! And THAT is the sign of her responding to a known addiction junkie--whether it be toxic weed, a consistent loser at gambling, or someone who can't help himself when it comes to trying to defend deadbeats like redietz and his litany of lies.

Of course, he's "comfortable" and always does what he wants, living the "life of Riley"..... :):):):)

Unlike you, Bobert, I keep no secrets from my wife.

Of course unlike you I've nothing to hide.

Go ahead, mock a happy man ... LOL

Several things wrong with that. Probably because of the fried brain again.

I'm "hiding things"? Hmmm....I must be really good at that since I'm hiding them from myself too :)

You're a "happy man"? Anyone who needs drugs is anything but happy.

I can picture it now.....you coughing up a black lung while the wife plays some silly Gen Z game on a computer.

    Brilliant.

    "Coughing up black lung?"

    I'm no coal miner.

As for you mocking my wife for playing Candy Crush on a tablet: aren't you the guy who spent decades in smoky casinos pushing VP buttons?

    Pot ---> kettle ---> black

Robert, I'm sure you kept the Newell and the $1.5M jackpot a secret from your mate as she knows nothing about therm...

    You're a drug addict V. I was working.

My wife knows nothing about those? Is this a result of your devil worship?

The best tip I can give you about the machines you play is to quit playing them. The house has a big advantage on you. It's an advantage you cannot beat in the long run. The house wins because they have the mathematical advantage.

The list of machines I sent you are variable state. The advantages shift back and forth between house and player as the spins are made. I play only when the machine is in a positive state. Once the game goes negative I cash out. It's an easy read to determine if the machine is in a postive state if you are practiced at it.

I think I'm writing this all for nothing. I don't think you are interested. One can lead a horse to water but they can't make him drink. I think you are a happy loser.

The Horseshoe Las Vegas and Harrah's Kansas City are sister properties that share the same players club, Caesar's Rewards, and cross-market to their players. If you were to inquire about the rates for an Executive King Suite at a Bally's casino, the casino host would ask for your card number and track record before offering either a discounted or comped room. Based on past experience, the room is likely to be comped.

For slot enthusiasts, Harrah's Kansas City has a number of legitimate advantage play machines such as Buffalo Link, Hex3, Regal, Ascension, Scarab, Ocean Magic, Piggies, Treasure Box, Boost, Timber Wolf, and Wolf Run Eclipse. While Advantage Players (APs) do not typically brag about how much they pay for hotel rooms, they do take pride in how many free rooms they are able to obtain. It's important to keep in mind that there may be more happening in the world of gambling than meets the eye.

With CZR just go to the website, sign in, choose your destination and the dates. It will tell you whether the room will be comped or discounted. Then you make the reservation. There's no need to deal with anyone in person or over the phone.

I just looked at their Reno properties for June:

Mickeycrimm, as I read this, I feel your frustration. I felt exactly the same way about the late Alan Mendelson. Because I like MrV, just as I like Alan, the AP in me, wants to help them find something...almost anything...some small thing that can help turn their play +EV or at least break even.

At times Alan sort of hinted at an interest in advantage play, but most of the time, he would just say something about how he enjoys being a -EV gambler. MrV also has expressed many times that he enjoys being a -EV recreational gambler enjoying his retirement.

While there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, it is just not how an AP's mind works and hard for us to grasp. That is what I felt with Alan and I think that is what you feel with MrV. Hard as it is for our mindset....live and let live.

I went down the high limit slot highway after first earning my bones with craps; I hit a five grand JP and that "set the hook."

The only slots I play are old school IGT games like Double Diamond; the new ones don't do it for me, I am "old school."

Were MC to give me pointers as to how to gain an advantage at Double Diamond, DD Deluxe, or Double 3X4X5X pay I'd be able to use it, but otherwise his suggestions will not get incorporated into my play.

There is a difference between AP's and guys like me; AP's gamble to earn money to live on, whereas I already made my money and choose to gamble for the fun and thrill of it.

I'd welcome relevant AP advice to suit the games I play, if any is out there...

You should have let redietz write that rap.
Everybody sees you as a multi-faceted addict. You're addicted to getting stoned; you're a gambling addict who goes to those Oregon Indian casinos because you can't afford trips to LV---which is actually the location you claim to really really love; and as a lonely old man who keeps making unsupported assertions of "everything's hearts & roses in the V household, and I choose to sit around and do nothing with all my saved money from a law career" all signs point to alcoholism also.

And really, this is the ONLY kind of goofball who could ever support a serial liar like kew, and the "human thesaurus/legend in his own mind" redietz.....both of whom have basically been laughed off the planet.

I already made my money too but it's against my nature to play when the house has the advantage. It's way more fun to play with an advantage than with a disadvantage.
