Faster games, same win ratio. Could play it with DS or splits or combine the two. any suggestions?

No, i used my phone and a notepad app. Because i have been playing behind a terminal where the min. bet is €1 and around 50 sec between spins i had all the time in the world to do so. and behind a terminal you have enough privacy to do your own thing.
Yes i had given up on roulette, because everytime i though i had it working it hit me right in the face over and over again.
But... I still like the game and when a good solid strategy is handed, like ed did with this one, i can't help it, but to test it. Again, i love the game, but i know my boundries, and not let it control me again like it did. now it's just for fun. And i hate testing behind the desk, because i always have screeming kids around.

 

since you ask Jekhb about next level I will said this.
the whole concept can work to everything really. I played years back a ec, or 3 double streets (same) with great success. I knew the lenght of winning streets where more often and at the time did not really why until I saw Ed thread, like this one.
I was following at all time the last 3 double streets, that is it. and replacing the ones that missed by new ones, that simple.
I was also playing a relatively small positive progression after losing 3,4 times in a row. it makes sens if wins out last the losses.
for another type of play ,different regarding single streets. one can add the winning number with a small bet if he wants to.
if said street 12 hit with #36, adding a smaller unit to $36 is a good way to get out of the mud.
here is the thing.
the fact is this ; for any ec to win, double streets,single ones,dozens,splits,ect.... one of all of the plays HAVE to win in the order to win the bigger circle. remember the modern math decades ago, if 1 is included in 2, then 2 included in 3, then 3 included in 4, does it mean that 1 is included in 4 ?
just think of all the choices a player can make. a full menu.
but we dont want to complicated things too much or it could back fire.
the timing is what has to be made clear and if I was to play anything I want to know a time frame.
more plays means more /less risk ,it depends of the capital you have to risk. but yes it can be taken to higher levels my friend, just focus on making money first so you grow slowly and dont get addicted too much to winning or the game will get you.

Panatha ,lets said #8 come, then #2, #14, #28, .
so I have a ds for each dozen now.
*8 is part of the first ds . (3 and 4)
# 2 came after and is part of the ds 1 and 2 . because it is the last one of the first dozen it is the one I will bet.
#14 came I will bet street 5 and 6 (or a chip in a meddle)
#28 comes so a chip on street 11 and 12.
so you always bet the last ds that showed on each dozen and just follow.
if lets said #9 shows up and not my chosen ds i replace it immidiately by the new ds 3 and 4 in the first dozen and dump my old one.
that is it in a nut shell for the ec bet (18 numbers played) same as 3 ds.
always following the last ds in each dozen.

Hi,
My initial post awaits moderation as I included link to my earlier session playing TG's way. Over 400 spins with high at 660 (playing 5$ as basic unit) ending up at 240 after problematic recovery going +1/-1. I later switched to positive progression and slightly different version of playing since I really dont like the long gaps when you are backing 1-2 streets in only one dozen that can end up as win but overall a WLW will be negative.
Once moderator allows my post from earlier on you can see my last 2 sessions on R-S page (gigisulivan nick) where my goal is 1000, playing 10$ chips (I'd achieve that goal playing TG's way around 110spin so pretty similar play time required if I'd use 10$ chips there too).

I think increasing stake only on the dozen that lost is not efficient as you might keep hitting on other ones and losing on same dozen getting to a point that wins from other dozens won't keep you alive.
Another suggestions I found it working well, since we are in fact trying to play repeats is to keep your bet on the winning street if taking it off would mean no more bets remaining, or if it is a street that loses me a dozen.
Example:
13 - 1u on S5
19 - 1u on S5,S7
18 - loses that dozen (make a note to increase stake after next win by 1u), so I put 1u now on S6
1 - 1u on S1,S6
3 - Win - take off S1, if this would not make new high Bankroll I'd increase stake by 1u on S6 and any next bets until new high is achieved.
17 - Win, since its last street with bet on I keep 1u on it and continue

 

I really appreciate the detailed explanation Jekhb. Previously I have spent a lot of time on this and I kept falling short. A quick look at your method shows me I was doing things slightly differently.

I will incorporate your rules and see if it will made a difference. I will share my results when I have tested thoroughly.

Probably easiest to see my play is to go to roulette-simulator and find gigisulivan user, I have few rated games done that way there. For now the goal is to win 8/10 sessions with 300 points bankroll.

i'vw started to test what you explained, but somehow i can't get it to work, must been doin' something wrong.
What i did was playing the last ds that hit in that dz.
so when #1 comes, i play ds 1, then #13 comes. now i play ds 1,3.
now # 34 comes. now play ds 1,3 and 6.
Now i have 3 ds in play, one for every dozen.
next up number 8 comes. this means i lost in dz 1, because i was betting ds 1 and the ball landed on ds 2. so i remove the bet on ds 1 and raise the bet and play ds 2 with the other ds still in play at the same stake.
so switching back and forth to the one that just hit. raising +1 when i lost a bet in a dz and lower the bet when any of my ds hits. bit this doesnt work, was getting in a very big hole.
Can you please explain it again step by step?
