WOW so OAB has been suspended for 30 days, and he mobilized his "friend" to come here and keep things in order.
It seems lonestarhorse allways has some "friend" to do his bidding. Like his "friends" have nothing better to dh i guess when a friend is in his mind.....there is alot of time.

 

Well, it's not so much that you should know her. But OAB/MDavis has made statements about a certain place he frequents and people he has been in contact with there. If true then he would know her. I could let more time go by before divulging who she is but I know I won't get a response from him because he doesn't fucking know her. And that goes to the heart of his credibility. So I will tell you all who she is. She is a shift boss at the Peppermill Poker Room. I don't know exactly how long she has been there but I know she's been there at least for the last few years.

 

If we have to wait 30 days ...why the fuck does he need you. What the fuck are you supposed to add. You said he sent you here....to do what, if we have to wait 30 days for him to think how to weasel his way out of his lies.

 

Mickey, I am not a loudmouth that shmoozes with anyone who looks my way. I am not gregarious, not even "outgoing". I am not the type of person that learns someones name, and then remember sit or uses it a dozen times when speaking to that person as if I know them.
That is not me. I play 3-5 no limit normally, and I know dealers, and some regular players.....but I dont hold conversations at the table out of respect for others. And I concentrate on my cards and on the actions and tells of others. I am not there to socialize.
At a craps table when I played that game, I was not the one drinking alcohol and hi-fiving my neighboring players....I was there to try to winand pay attention. Therefore unlike the drinking hi-fiving fools.....when a dealer erroneously took down a bet of mine, or a die hit my chip and moved it to another players "spot",,,,,I would catch it and avoid un-needed angst .
So I dont know the names of the pit boss at craps, the boxman, even the dealers..I dont even call them by name. Thats just me.
I know there are others that play craps and learn the name of the dealer as "bob" ....and all you hear is "bob place the 8""bob take me down"...but not me.
Same with poker. I enjoy a nice quiet table, and if its quiet or loud...I do nothing to make it more loud.
Not to say my way is the only way to be. Its just who I am as a person.
So no, I dont know poker management......I dont go out of my way to let anyone know me. I am not there to make friends. I am there to make money and enjoy myself in the way that is comfortable to me. I have real friends and family outside of the poker room.
At the poker talbe am I cordial? Sure. DO i smile? Sure. Do I tell people "nice hand" or "nice bet" after the hand.....sure.

I have no reason to know poker room management, unless I constantly call for a ruling to over ride the dealers ruling.....I cant remember the last time I was invovled in something like that. It may never have happened.

I'm sure one day we shall play at the same table. Peppermill is one of my favorite casinos in Reno(Buffet used to be very good IMO) Reno is a short plane ride I used to go there and Tahoe frequently. Been thinking of going back to pump up some offers.

yes, typing too fast .....and if not available there are usually more 1-2 no limit......a couple times a year i will play in the back room 5/10 but I dont do that unless I have 1500 buy in. Usually on weekends where i dont like the games available to bet for sports, I will shift to poker....and vice versa if i like alot of games. Hundred dollar bills playin that game so it can get pretty dicey if u dnt have the bankroll.you dont want to start off being the short stack...which in some cases 1500 is....and I pass on that situation.
Pepper mill is by far the best room. On a saturday night they have at least 8 tables going ....leading to less of a wait time when u sign in on the computer. Or sometimes you dont even have to sign in,,when you see a talbe open and you ask and u are told to just buy chips and go over to the table.
Atlantis down the street has a nice poker room, but usually just one NL going....and if there is a second one its a must move table, so just when yu think you are getting a read on your tablemates...you can be asked to move.

Harrahs eliminated the poker room.......i saw a pool table recently where it was.

THird best for me is grand sierra,..the old hilton

i never play on the reno strip downtown...just because not enough tables..so longer wait times
