I like Vsausc as well. I was recently watching his headlights at light speed video.

    That's a great one.
I was going to make a new thread on "Random" and start it with that video. Laughs.
Roulette outcomes aren't Random, even if they appear to be.

Doesn't the organic roulette has air puff out the pockets at times?

My understanding is the air puffer is rng operated, but I don't know if that is true. That's the reason I asked to see if anybody knows.

I dont know, but it would seem that an air puffer wouldnt be needed to get a "random" roll.

Do you mean each pocket has a tiny hole where the ball can effectively be blown out of that pocket and into another?

That would require quite an elaborate contraption to be accurate. You would need 37 or 38 little tubes stationary around the outer edge of the wheel and the air puff would have to be fired at exactly the same time the ball was sinking into the pocket. OR the tiny air tubes rotate with the wheel so that a stream of air could be opened on pocket 7 all the time. Now, if this thing is rotating at rotor speed, how would you direct the air into the proper tube?

How do you get a horse out of the mud? First, get a sky hook..........

Frankly, this all boggles my mind.

I should have google it before I asked. I found a patent from 1998 the balls is first shot out of the tube using compressed air. Then there are some old posts on other boards about the pockets, but it looks like the confusion is that the ball is original shot out by air.
