It does take discipline TG, despite what some may say/think but it's simple to go off your system and lose. It's all good for practice on the system and displine, plus I still have a few things to iron out with my staking plan/progression to maximise profits and limit drawdown.

 

Guys, I would most likely have different goals there. You guys jockey for a certain ranking. I would be looking at what % higher (hopefully) my BR is at the end of the week. If a guy started at 5k and got up to 8k in a week but was RANKED 87th, I'm still impressed.

I look at stuff like that as kinda good. (lol) As most know, I talk a lot about doing your testing AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE to casino conditions. Your example you gave, is a casino condition. I have had it....I needed to bet on (whatever) and had to use the bathroom BAD and I mean #2 !!!! (lol)

I can go pretty damn fast, I'll miss maybe 5 spins. I get back, sure as hell 2/5, I needed those numbers!

You're right Ken and trust me the ranking isn't important in my book. But I think we'd all agree it is a fun aspect that you kinda get hooked to! And from TG's perspective its proof of concept!
Just because my bankroll is 25x higher than when I started doesn't mean I should 'expect' to win more. I can be happy winning 5-10k a session and walking. Sometimes I'll push for more, but I don't get chance to play as often as Id like.

 

You're gonna laugh at something else I do at home. When testing on Celtic, once in a while, I skip betting for four spins. Am I busy? No.

I simulate as if I was at the casino (lol)......bathroom break. I make it as REALISTIC as possible.

Yes and that is the exact point. So your number(s) might come up while you are in the can. You now have to go above and beyond (extra wins) because of it. If it happens at the casino, I'll do it during testing as well.
