I showed that his bet selection is no better than betting on red, and that he fiddled the stats to make his results look much better than they actually were. My guess is that he busted out and had to find an excuse to leave. He's done this multiple times before.

Always lock when you're up and get out of there. Often the green goblin is an indicator that a minus set is coming. Most of my sets where the goblin drops during the betting phase don't get higher than PLUS 1.
