Poker Poker Skills or Poker Luck, or Both Needed?

    How often does "LUCK" come into play in a tournament? I usually am grateful when it happens, and hopefully I won't need it often. See if luck played a huge part in this winning video:

    During Moneymakers now legendary run, didn't he win several elimination hands on the last card, so luck certainly can play a role.

    Poker is the combination of luck and skill. If Poker was a game of skill, the inexperienced wouldn't play because they would lose every time. If it were too much about luck, the professional players would give up.
