Here is 1,6 years of continuous roulette spins (1 million, 50 sec each). Yellow=Even, Brown=Black and Green=High. House edge (Zeros) removed to see the randomness better.

I forgot to say the data is real roulette table spins. This is the big picture but a lot more interesting it get when you zoom in. A lot of beautiful imaginary trends can be found just waiting you to grab them ;)

    Maybe there who knows.
The question i have for you
    Maybe there is.
Nothing is for sure when we talk about a random game.
    Are you profitable in trading?

Oh yeah I have my bread & butter (full time trading since 2011) but there is always something to improve in effectiness. I've got some working ideas from randomness and I just can feel it there is more.

That can depend on a lot of things. How long was the other side dominating before the streak or trend started. If it was not dominating at all then I would avoid it. One side can only dominate for so long before it needs to take a rest. Nothing is dependable. I like patterns much more than I like streaks because streaks are fickle. I'm much better at guessing patterns then streaks.

Then why bother with anything else?
If you make money since 2011 you must be wealthy if not rich.
Do you day trade or do you open longer trades?

It cannot be done that's why you have to constantly change up your game. There is nothing consistent about roulette so how could you beat it consistently without constantly changing with the changing outcomes. Roulette flows in and out of phases and you have to be able to recognize those phases. Sometimes they aren't there at all and that's when you really have to be aware or you waste your money. The last 2 days playing online I haven't seen much that I can exploit but that will change because it always does. That's why I only try to make one unit per session I don't have time anymore to wait around.

Well said. The same in financial side. It's all about your ability to adapt.

People do not like adapting they will always fight against it. They love hard and fast rules to follow because it's easy you don't have to think about anything. To beat roulette you have to constantly be thinking about what's happening because there are no rules, how can you apply rules to random outcomes. Yet people constantly try to do it. People on this forum are constantly trying to do it. It's a ridiculous waste of time.

Yes. Stop predicting. Just read the markets and go with the flow. Stop being right. The less eqo the better.

If you punch up 100 spins on my practice software for EC's it will almost be impossible to not find a nice stretch of singles on the weak side somewhere in the chart. It happens almost every time. Sure there can be a phase where they just don't exist. But what if you are also looking for an absence of singles. That happens too. Then there are swarms of triples. You could also have a stretch of doubles on the weak side or nothing larger than triples on the strong side. Then there is the gold mine. You can get a characteristic pattern that swarms continuously in nice length packets at least somewhere in the chart and it goes on for hours. I have explained all this and shown examples. But what comes from practice is your own ability to see these phases that work.

Oh, ok. I thought I was just being plain dumb for not being able to "find the button."

    Gizmo,

you are so proud of yr El Cap face in Yosh. Park

Nanga Parbat has tremendous vertical relief over local terrain in all directions.[9]

To the south, Nanga Parbat has what is often referred to as the highest mountain face in the world: the Rupal Face rises 4,600 m (15,090 ft) above its base.

I guess you never been there...

I can only guess that you think my software costs something, perhaps? I created it to support this thread. It's here for free download in the software section. Just on the chance that you are wondering why I'm standing by this thread and supporting it, I have an interest in seeing that it is a process of communication that is understood. I try to keep those interested on course. Spike and I came up with the same idea about randomness independently of each other and pretty much only hinted at this for many many years to others. I gave it all away back between 2006 and 2007 without pointing directly to it or explaining it. Spike was hinting at it too. Funny that we kept the secret to ourselves. To many people here you can see that you can tell a person to their face exactly what it is and they can't see it. Someone gave me a funny T-shirt a few years ago. It says "I can tell you, but I can't understand it for you."

It's been three years since I created this thread. That alone proves that it is very difficult to just put a few minutes into it and think anyone can understand it, let alone exploit it. There is no substitute for experience. You can't use this with that lacking. Nobody knows how many people around the world are using these skills. But one thing is for sure. It has not blown sky high yet. I personally believe that it will one day. When that happens they will be able to come back to this thread and see that the process of communication was not an easy process. If this was a mindless rule based system it would have blown up the casinos by now.

That sounds more like a drunken party from Camp 4. It's Yosemite Park. A friend I once climbed with was the second person on Earth to climb Astro Man. He split his pants up the seam and had no underwear on at the time. When he was doing a stemming section way up on the route all his glory was hanging out for anyone with a telescope to see. Still, at the time it was considered the hardest free climb in the entire world. You have just given new meaning to Astro Man. Who gives a rat's ass if there are taller routes for climbing. I suggest you read "The White Spider" about the first ascent of the Eiger, north face. It was known as the murder face to those of the climbing community at the end of the golden age of mountaineering in the Alps. So what is it exactly that has triggered your ego?

Would you mind sharing a portion of these results in a text file?
I would like to do some analysis!

I am awfully impatient then. I get the feeling that it only works half of the time - what you would expect from guessing. But I have not logged my results either. It's just a feeling. I felt like I had success with this then it felt like it stopped working. Lots of 'sessions' with 1 or 2 net wins then everything going bad non stop. It feels like I'm a dog chasing a laser pointer. It looks like it's there but you never grab it. I'll give more thought and practice just because if it's real, it's awesome. But I'm highly skeptical...

And this is why I keep coming back to this, I just said this and decided to practice once more, recording results. And I had 36 net wins on 36 sessions. Some are hard but if you don't give up it comes back.
I really think that the only reason I have not made money with this is because of the emotional aspect, seriously. On the practice software it's so easy.
