Oh, more magical thinking. Figure out this magic bias. If you look at the wheel you will notice that between the reds there is an alternate odd or even number. This eliminates the possibility that a sector on the wheel is dominate. These are biased spokes for them to dominate. How can a defect be selective from one space to another? So the obvious answer is that this guy must have gone down to the crossroads and sold his soul to Legba.

It will eventually. The chickens are running scared. This is turning into a huge buying opportunity for those that want to get some great stocks that they have always wanted at a discounted price. The liberals can't wait to get on the side of the Grim Reaper. It's too bad they can't get a virus that takes out stupid people. Course getting burned by Bernie is almost as good.

When you're a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

For me, there won't be a buying opportunity for a long time, and political motivations or media bias don't factor in to my decision. China's GDP is going to fall dramatically due to shut down days and lack of consumption by their middle/upper class. Falling from say 8% to 4% (or worse), roughly -50% for the first quarter of Covid-19's impact alone. Since they make up roughly 16% of the world's economy it's safe to say that there will be tough times ahead for all of the world's major indexes.

I shorted Disney, a few auto stocks, and other issues I expect to be hit by closure/shutdown issues a week ago, and so far so good. Ups and downs will happen, including false rebounds in the short term...and that's ok.

Never let politics cloud your thinking. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

You are so right. I'm going to get a little kooky (keepers of odd knowledge). I think this virus might actually have indications of human manipulation and engineering. China is in a slow down already and they may have dumped this on the world on purpose. And It looks like it got loose from Travis AFB too in Solano County. What if it's OK to decrease the population in China and the rest of the world too by targeting the very young and old that cost governments most of their healthcare costs? You get a crisis that leads to people demanding government do things like suspend things and control things. I'm just saying, what if the rumors of scientific engineering are true.

Hey you never know. No one is wrong at this point.

They're putting the "bats, who safely live with it, gave it to an armadillo-like rodent that the Chinese illegally trade among themselves for eating" reason out there this week, and that seems legitimate based on how insane outdoor Asian food markets are (have been to two of them, was blown away that we can live after eating anything from them at all haha).

Current estimates from un-politically motivated sources regarding Covid-19 (and they're just estimates at this point since there just isn't enough data really):

    40-60% - world population infection
14% of infected - won't get sick at all despite getting it, but will pass it along unknowingly to others who will.
2% of infected - death, but unlike most flus, it seems to be killing the elderly more than very young children (usually kills both...hey that fits your engineered theory Giz heheh).

Enedmic? - yes, meaning it stays in existence as a threat forever, yearly vaccinations once it's available specifically for it from that point forward, etc.

The 2% death figure is interesting, that's 50 million people worldwide currently if 50% are infected over time. Around the entire population of California or Italy if you're looking for scale.

But again, all of it is fantasyland right now as none of the numbers are reliable due to data.

What the heck. This is fun. Let's go apocalyptic. We have the locusts, now a plague, We are headed into hurricane season, fires, look for earthquakes and a horrible tornado season. It's perfect. But this kind of a swarm happens every once in a while. You just need to read randomness to see it all at once, (just joking) Let's get a meteor strike and some monster sized recession to go with it all. Dooooooooom!

OK, this needs to be said. They will not contain this virus. If they can't get an inoculation by next year's flue season then about 50 million people will die world wide. Does that mean we need to have a recession? I don't see why. Older people dying will not effect the workforce much. It will cause job opportunity if it does. We need to get over the hysteria over it getting loose in the world. It can't and won't be stopped. People that are infectious are walking around without showing symptoms. They already lost this battle. So get over it. Embrace the horror.

P.S. I left out volcanoes. We need those too.

The casinos better begin sanitizing the chips on a daily basis which they have not done so far.
