Isnt betting on a pattern not to continue, a pattern in itself?

Just a rookie here but from what Ive studied, generally speaking when following a specific way you are actually following a pattern.

I don't know why most on this forum come after me in a negative way. I have never made the claim that I have a strategy that cannot lose. If you do not like the strategy I talk about for whatever reason, leave it alone. You do not have to use it, you do not have to pay for it, you do not have to give it any consideration at all. If you want a winning strategy for sure, there is one person on this forum that does make the claim that he has it - GIZMOTRON

I wasnt trying to come after you in a negative way.

I was just pointing out that by chasing to break the pattern, you are forming a pattern.

My last comment was not aimed at you. It was in regards to MillyMole's comment. You are basically right, I agree. Any strategy that is performed the same way over and over is indeed a pattern in itself. Without following a pattern there is no real structure to a strategy.

Four weeks ago I took an interest in this thread. I noticed David was achieving some very positive results. I have had experience using systems which exploit patterns and permutations. I have had mixed results... I have had some wins, but I have also had plenty of losses. David agreed to email me detailed instructions on how to play his method and I agreed to test it. So far I have completed 30 sessions. These sessions are recorded below.
    • All sessions were carried out on Roulette Simulator.
    • Each session took roughly one hour to complete.
    • A base unit of 10.00 was used.
    • A session was complete when I won 50 units (500.00)
    • A session was abandoned when I recorded 7 losses.
    • A 7 step martingale was used (10 - 20 - 40 - 80 - 160 - 320 - 640 - 1280)

    30 complete sessions

    24 winning sessions: (24 X 500.00). A total of 12,000 in winnings.
    6 losing sessions: (810 + 950 + 1070 + 920 + 1010 + 840) A total of 5,600 in losses.

    12,000 (winnings) - 5,600 (losses) = 6,400 profit.

In the past I have had mixed results playing various patterns / permutations systems. What makes David's method different is that his rules enable you to exploit streaks. So far, this seems to be what gives his method an edge. The 7 step martingale is part of the system. As soon as you hit that seventh step, the session is abandoned. No exceptions. Losses are expected and they are accounted for.

I've noticed David has come in for a fair bit of criticism in this thread. I think it's quite unfair. I can't see David making any extravagant claims. He's just saying that so far the method has been tested 'X' amount of times and these are the results. Positive so far....

I know other people are testing the method and it would be good to see their results too.

OK, David, I'll take a bite at the forbidden fruit.

    Here are my seven steps:

    18 ----- 1
    36 ----- 2
    72 ----- 4
    144 ---- 8
    288 ---- 16
    576 ---- 32
    1152 --- 64
    ---------
2286 total if lost without any wins.

This way I can use my practice software to run tests. I've never had 7 lost bets in a row without a win in there somewhere. Perhaps this will end Roulette for good. So I can start making tests just to see how good this is. 18 * 50 = 900. So I will go for $900 in my software using 1 as the base unit.

This might actually be fun. I know I'm the best player in the room when it comes to trends & patterns. I never tried a 7 step Marti before. This could end everything. Ha Ha. Embrace the horror.

    I think it will.

Talking about my math, yours isn't much better. You say if you lose all 7 steps without any wins, it's a 2,286 total loss. Doesn't 2 X 1,152 = 2,304? You cannot test my strategy accurately because there are particulars patterns you bet against and others you avoid. Anyway, go ahead and do what you're going to do, the results will be interesting to compare what happens when certain elements of my strategy are left out. This could be very good overall.

Try adding these numbers as an addition problem:

    18
    36
    72
    144
    288
    576
    1152
    ==========
    2286 --- this is what I get.

    When I multiply 2 times 1152 I get 2304.

How long have you been using your secret patterns? And how long did it take to come up with your patterns to avoid? You have no idea who you are talking with. I know what patterns win. I know what a win streak is and a losing streak too. I just ran a good enough test using the lazy method and it blows away the casino. If I win every session and never lose you will probably think more about your pet patterns. I suspect I can do this and never lose. You do know that your patterns must go into phases where they get killed don't you? So what are your backup sequences with alternate patterns, you have them right? Because I have oodles of options. I just applied the skill of reading randomness to a seven step Marti and didn't even use virtual bets. I happen to know from memory and playing in live casinos with real money and I know this will kill off Roulette real fast. I've never had seven losses in a row when using virtual bets. I know you can just blind select bets and get killed right off.

Look at all this. It is my opinion that going after $900 with 50 net wins is a huge mistake. This is based on $1 chips on 18 numbers as the base value.

I'd advise you to learn to read randomness in view of this discovery. You deserve at least a well done for sticking to your guns. I'll do some more research on this. These bets can all be made on a Roulette table if you know how to keep the dealers happy. There is no way to pile 64 chips on a single number, let alone 32. The table does not have that many colored Roulette table chips.

Actually your charts and methods might as well be in Arabic. I do not have a clue what they are revealing. I am just a simple guy who always loved a challenge to see if I could defeat what seems to be the impossible. My many visits to Las Vegas is what inspired me to pursue strategies to beat the games. At first it was Blackjack which I did okay with. Learned to play the game perfectly. Never lost any money, won a little. I tried craps, that game doesn't lend itself to any possible strategy at all. I took a liking to roulette because it almost gives you a 50/50 chance. You do not need to take me serious with any of this. Just for the fun and challenge of it, I am in a phase of goofing around with roulette strategies. Months ago I came up with something that looked very promising, the results were better than anything I witnessed before. I joined this forum for one reason and one reason only, and that was to see if anyone else ever tried a strategy like mine. I was not here to claim anything or sell anything. I do have others testing this strategy showing the same results. However, if we all eventually crash and burn with it, I really don't give a rat's. I just fall in the heap with all of the other millions of failures. But it has been fun. Except for all of the criticism I get over nothing at all.

You say I deserve at least a well done for sticking to my guns. The only thing I have stuck to thus far is the results we are having to this point. Nothing else. If and when it all fails, we can all part company because there will be nothing else to discuss.

It won't crash and burn. This is the Holy Grail. This thing about you not knowing what my charts are about is fully explained in the Reading Randomness thread. There are places where the software is, how to use it, and most importantly reading trends and patterns.

You might enjoy it a little. I take a lot of shit trying to explain it all. You can find it in this Roulette section from the main page. just keep in mind your seven step marti. The secret to being really good is seeing the best trends and also taking advantage of virtual bets.

If you would please, give me the bottom line of what your testing revealed. In simple English as though you were trying to explain the results to a 9 year old. Can you come down to that level for once. I would appreciate it. If I do not understand what exactly you tested and what the results of those tests revealed, I know no more than I did before I joined this forum. Thanks

That calls for another beer. I have a huge amount of playing experience. So it's real easy to overlook things that I just take for granted. Before I ever place a bet I look for the strongest occurring trend or pattern that is still continuing. Sometimes trends or patterns come in similar sized trends and lengths. I look for that as an added feature. So That is the first thing that I do.

Next I check to see if I'm in a swarm of wins and losses. I check to see if there is an absence of long losing streaks. I want losses that only occur in singles or doubles in a row. That is where virtual bets come into play. This is a bet selection that is written down in the chart but is not funded. I can wait out bad patches of a session. You can do the same thing with your progression. So timing is based on actual guessing effectiveness. You learn to look for good patches and then you continue with the progression being funded. If you are in a swarm of single or doubles than just waiting one or two spins will get you back in the positive.

You can see me go bet, bet, bet and I have my winner in my charts. You know that the seven in a row is a very rare occurrence. So if you don't bet through any steep divie sections then you are just left with a recovery bet that will more than likely hit.

I would use this method with $250 as the win goal per session. It would require 9 session wins to pay back one lost session at $2,250 for the full bankroll. I think I might be able to do this and never lose.

You need to read about step one more in detail. I don't want to reteach it. It's already here.

Okay thanks, I understand. My strategy some how by luck maybe bumped into some of what you have been doing with reading randomness. I avoid betting against patterns that are the most common to repeat - R B R B R B R. I shave off the first five of that pattern and use the last two as the first two of the next pattern of 7. I never bet against a pattern of 7 that starts with more than 3 of the same color. - B B B B B B R R. I shave off the first 3 of that pattern and start my betting on the 4th B and the remainder of that pattern which would be B B R R and whatever 3 colors follow after. I always pick and choose patterns close to the last 7 spun that have a well distributed color variance. - B R B B R R B - B B B R R R B - R R R B B B R. These are patterns that contain at least 3 of the same color in the group of 7. I skip a pattern if it contains a zero and I cannot make a full 7 step Marty up to it. I never have used virtual betting, so far haven't seen a need for it.

You say I need to read about step one more in detail. Well, I like that because step 1 in your post says this calls for another beer. Come on now, isn't that the best step of any damn strategy?[/QUOTE]

Your list of do's and don'ts are actually a system that can work. I like hunting anything that is in a phase of continuing. But your's would work if you can add the "effectiveness states." That is where you take notice of the current guessing results. You just don't allow yourself to go into free fall. I have shown just how to do that.

Why can’t this david gregory just post this system so we can all test it over at casino wiesbaden using the live numbers they let you download, instead of giving vague hints of patterns not repeating in the next 7 spins,or playing patterns 50 spins ago,or whatever the system is.Why all the mystery to this !!

I thought about this a little over night. If I was to continue using a 7 step Martingale then I would use a few must-use rules.

1.) Always drop back to a virtual bet after each lost real bet, unless I'm targeting singles in a pattern or a domination on the weak side.

2.) It takes about 14 net wins to make $250 with a $2,250 bankroll for the progression to make it to a stop point. That then requires 9 sessions won for each full Martingale loss. A session loss would be over $2000. It just takes $630 to make $250+ flat betting. But, if you are really good you might never lose the 7 step progression if you use virtual bets properly.

If you go to virtual bets on every lost bet then you can only lose a session with seven first try bets in a row. If you are targeting bets during win streaks then it is almost impossible to lose a session. The only enemy is you and the temptation to be lazy. That is a real factor too.

3.) Keep records of what your results are. To beat this you must win a bunch of 9 won session groupings that are more than lost sessions. I suspect that a good player can do this and never lose if they target the win streaks in their bet selections. I use to have a sim that targeted 4 lost real bets in a row. That was rare enough. This is 7 lost real bets in a row. You can know when your bet selections are in a slow grind downward. You can wait it out. Seeing change is a skill that is learned.
