Mickey, I knew Rob's real name 20 years ago. When he was in his heyday writing a column for Gaming Today, I was spending 90-100 days a year in LV.

Rob thumbs his nose at getting 5 to 15% hotel discounts with minimal effort. We can't all be aristocrats like you, I tell him. Even Alan, whose show is indeed called Best Buys, can't defend Rob's attitude because it undermines the theme of the show.

Rob's not exactly a high roller. I baited him by saying I was considering betting $25 or $30 on the Super Bowl (I neglected to add the K). Rob jumped all over me for being a low roller. It was pretty funny when he realized I purposefully left out the K.

 

Rob is a deadbeat, he owes thousands to people on "loans"
He lives in his kids home, without them he'd be homeless

 

Because he needs every precious penny for his loser ass martingale system.

 

Is this just something you are making up or do you have some kind of reason for saying this? I know little or nothing about him other than he is a writer and he has a system that doesn't work unless you are using other people's money and getting a cut when you win and lose nothing when you lose. I can't imagine running into him in a casino because from the sounds of it he stays away from legitimate Advantage plays.

 

OAB says he knows people that Rob owes in Vegas. One of them, I can't remember his name, is pretty high up in the sports betting industry.

 

Axel his judgements have been posted over at Alan's old place. He DOES owe many people in Vegas money one of them being Todd Fuhrman

Please not another forum. Can you explain more. Why does he owe people money? Did he scammed them he he borrow?

About the money he owes people in Vegas, he borrowed from a few & didn't pay up on bets he made with them

I will bet you money and give you 5.5 to 1 odds RS isn't Rob Singer, look at his posts they don't sound anything alike.

 

Evidence? (not that I don't believe you, but I shouldn't take such serious accusations just on your word) I'm interested because I'm definitely a non believer in his... what I call bunk systems. I think people should know this type of information if their considering his system a viable option its a very dangerous system. Eventually you'll get hammered using it. The reason its dangerous because you progressively get in deeper and deeper before you know it it's to late, next thing they know they are chasing losses thinking the next big hit is moments away yet it never comes. They'll end up busted and disgusted.

 

I submit that it's a fundamental but viscerally satisfying mistake to evaluate Rob's systems based on his income or housing status. Trump filed for bankruptcy in AC more than half a dozen times -- he's running for prez. Rob's systems should be evaluated via math, not perceived history or his self-presentation.

 

but in the end trump may have had losses in some years just as you would expect gamblers with a successful method would...but in the end trump has more successes than failures and his standard of living reflects that.

 

Arcimedez on VCT put up the evidence that Rob was evicted from an apartment in Arizona and had a $700 judgment against him on the affair that he never payed.

I agree, therefore it's absolutely a losing system. Unfortunately he doesn't need or buy into no stinking math therefore I think it's somewhat relevant. His system would be worth 10's of millions if it actually worked.

 

Singer can't keep up with all the lies he tells. He's now telling the VCT crowd that he has stayed in hundreds of hotels around the country in the last five years. If you were wheeling a big RV around the country would you stay in hotels?

 

Rob Singer hasn't been posting much in the forums lately. That is, the few he is still allowed on. But he has taken to emailing and PMing newbies using rude language to explain to them the dangers of learning from AP's.

According to Rob flat betting is a recipe for disaster. Best to use a marty and bet more when you are losing. So goes the convoluted logic of Singer who has "helped hundreds of players to become winners" with his marty system. The forums are chock full of testimonials from these players, aren't they? No, wait. Thats right. According to Rob they don't post up their spectacular results because WE are rude. Imagine Rob calling someone else rude. LMAO!
