I assume what you call luck has to do with patterns recognition, just for your information the definition for these 2 is not identical...

Attempting to interpret a random sequence by assigning pattern significance to parts of the results' stream is the definition of pareidolia apophenia.

On the other hand, what we call luck is the occurrence of any event which has tiny possibility to happen, if that event is positive we call it ''good luck'', îf it's negative we call it ''bad luck''.

Therefore claims such as: "I can read random coincidences'', ''my strategy s successful because is based on luck'', doesn't make sense to me, I agree with Michaela on this one.

BlueAngel, all good points, but far off the mark.

Anyway, I'm agreeing with the thread title if that helps.

I don't, but since you don't believe in long term winning then why do you bother with roulette or with gambling in general??
Do you consider losing a pleasure?!
Personally I cannot enjoy losing even if it's without any money involved, let alone with money!

Another nonsense came this way by Bombus!

Of course not. It's a well thought out, highly complex plan that in the eventuum overcomes house edge because of "luck".

It is a mistake to attribute meaning to "random coincidences." They are nothing more than formations, that are actually occurring, without any cause or control. They can not make themselves continue. They are never due. Many people like to assume that reading randomness has something to do with prediction. That assumption makes it real easy to present a thoughtless argument. It accomplishes next to nothing and make the person stating it an idiot of sorts. If you see a face in a cloud formation that does not mean you can take advantage of it on a Roulette table.

If you see a pattern that the second dozen, 13 - 24, is not hitting, then you can position yourself to bet on the other two dozens by placing a bet. Now if that bet loses on the first try, then this only means that the coincidence in randomness has ended. It was never a magical control device that would make the second dozen hit or not hit. It was just a coincidence. That being said, what if that coincidence was in the middle of the second dozen sleeping for 30 spins in a row? On Roulette tables all over the world, these sleeping dozens sleep for as many as 30 spins in a row, thousands of times per year among all those tables.

Attributing meaning to a pattern can be nothing more than a random coincidence or the definition of pareidolia apophenia. What you think about it will define your playing style if nothing else. Ignoring a long lasting perfect pattern is like walking past a bag of gold and not picking it up. Now that we have your excuse for doing that, we all really respect you even more. Thanks for putting me in my marginalized place. I'm sure you feel much better and superior now, idiot.

It's all about long term winning, I think you have misread all I've said.

I'm probably the only one around here that does win, and I'm probably the only one around here that doesn't need to win.

I'm comfortable with that, good luck to you.

The misleading in your description is the definition ''random coincidences'', it would be much better to define it as ''streaks''.
Therefore a communication error but could be intentionally in order to seem more ''fishy'',''catchy'' to the amateur audience.
Listen Gizmo (or should I say Bozo...?), you cannot reinvent the wheel and present it as your creation.

My advice to you, return to your shithole and joggle some bananas, your students would be dazzled!

You may keep your assumptions to yourself.

    Thanks but don't need one.

You're just repeating yourself. If "luck" is variance then in the long run it is overtaken by the house edge. Adding a progression does nothing to change this, in spite of TG's assertions (and in any case his argument is incoherent). So to say your success ultimately depends on luck is to admit that you don't have a successful system, although you may have won a great deal playing it to date.

But if you want to join him playing the secret squirrel game then by all means have at it, lol.

OK fuckhead, what causes a streak?

I think I will make an example of you. I'm going to build a sim that catches sleepers in the dozens and columns that reach 30 spins in a row. Mind you, retard, that a "streak," a thing that you would ignore, reaches 20 in a row many many time more often. Try as you want, seeing a "streak" is "Reading Randomness."

I hate snowflakes with their condescending, post modernistic relativism, dismissal of facts that support otherwise good arguments. I'm so glad that you live in that socialistic shit hole of a country.

But you've seen the ''face'' of the moon, don't you??

This s just an assumption which is based on the false belief that on the vague distant future every possibility has to balance out (everything would has equal appearances), this is not just wrong, actually it's far from the truth!
It's easy to verify that what I'm saying is valid, check 10,000 spins and see for yourself the difference in numbers' hits, not enough? check 50,000 spins for the same thing, not sufficient? check 100,000 to see if they have balance out...
No matter how many results you are going to check/play there will always be leaders and followers because nothing in this world is equal and roulette is not the exception.

Probability merely represents how things should have been and results represent how things actually are.
If we witness 24 out of 37 approximately in every 37 spins then why in the tens of thousands, in the hundreds of thousands, even in the millions of spins to expect that everything would balance out of the blue?
    Isn't 37 part of 666, isn't 1 mil be multiple 37 spins sets?

And who says that if my selection would become colder I would have to stick with a ''sinking ship''...?!
The flawed mainstream perception is to conceive results as individual ''raindrops'' and not as a total of a ''storm''...
Last but not least, no, this doesn't have to do with physical flaws because the phenomenon happens regardless the presence (or not) of physical bias(es).

I have said this many times "back in the day" and I'll say it again. Its funny how the people who KNOCK others with decent methods, just so happen to have shit themselves. In other words, if they cant win, nobody else can.

I don't care who among you win or don't.

We all do our own thing and that's how it should be. Just remember,

Roulette always wins - don't fight with it, accept it.

This is what the LOSERS have to say because it's very appealing to their mind that since they are LOSERS everyone else has to be the same!

I've already told you that you are the definition of NONSENSE!
If you really believe in such crap then what are you doing in a gambling forum and why bothering with roulette in general?!

If you play to win you will eventually succumb to the house edge and variance.

I don't expect you to understand.

Keep forcing your hand or doing whatever you think works for you.
