    Yes, I made this thread just for you Bombus lol
    I'm getting to like that word too !
    Here's some spins from Celtic - the skippiness was great with this one !
    *disclaimer: please don't post and tell me this is "normal" and happens on any wheel because I already know that - I just like pointing it out.
    *disclaimer #2: For people who have never played roulette - expect to see this. Never jump for joy thinking that you won until the dealer puts the marker on your chip(s) lol.

    =====================
    When you bet on #5 and think you won....

    Look at that ball jump back and forth - you lost, it's ok there's another spin
    coming ! Keep your head up.

    ======================
    When you bet on #33 and this time you're SURE you won !

    Nope, it went walking back 2 pockets just "because".
    It's ok, try again !

    ======================
    When you bet on #10 and the ball goes into your pocket and
    then up the rotor and stops 4 pockets away lol

    It's ok - at least it's not making a figure 8 and crossing back and
    forth over your number, that would be bad.

    ======================
    When the ball does a figure 8 over your number 9 and you lose
    again !!!

    But don't worry, you want to get up and leave - keep trying.

    ======================
    My last bet on #25 with 10 units - expecting not to win
    (I knew I was going to win - that's just "dramatic effect")

    Because sometime the roulette Gods look down on you and say
    "He's had enough skippiness, let the poor guy win one"

    I only suffer from the ball flying out of the wheel and hitting me -
    then the dealer's eyes open wide and I have to place it back on the
    table CAREFULLY as if it's a bomb and it might explode. 4 times so far -
    the next time I'm keeping it ! (not really)

    1) 17 will always outskip 5.

    2) At least you weren't on the 16!

    3) 13 is the best number anyway so don't whinge.

    4) A figure 8 around the double zero, you should be grateful.

    5) I was on the 29, you suck!

    :)

    I think the point here is that for system players, erratic behaviour of the ball is part and parcel of the game. If you need to make excuses or create conspiracy theories as to why the ball jumps around somewhat then you need to rethink your game.

    Obviously the wheel design and the ball makeup will be influential in the spin by spin actions of each result, but if you're playing a system devoid of any physical inputs then it really shouldn't make any difference in the long run.
