Baccarat Stadium play 2019 February to August

Out of curiousity how many full bankrolls have you lost in a row before coming back, june you lost 61 units in 5 games, so that is 1+ full bankroll, have you see worst days since you finalized your Bet selection? And how long have you been playing with this solidified bet selection, i know you been playing 500 units for 2 years so you must be close or over the $1 to $2 mil profit which flat betting is incredible, I know marty and more aggressive bettors temporarily make more, but from experience their bankroll and profits will get wiped out by the black swan. Ive been in high limit rooms (i was betting minimum $100) and someone sits next to me and starts betting $3k/$5K/$8K/$15K/$20K max at this table and wins almost $100K and actually walks away. I was up about $300 lol , But next day comes back loses $50k same style, then on third day, again i see him drop about another $75K. It turns my stomach being at same table when that happens and normally the person losing looks like they are in "over" their head.

 

Fair question. Since the 18/08/2016 at 4:16 pm ( I have written in the day book always date time start time finished) I have not lost a complete betting bankroll of 5 daily betting banks. Prior to 18/08/2016 I had lost many 1 or 2 day betting bank in a session,but in those days I didn’t have the 5 day bankroll rule nor was my selection criteria the same as now. The date above was important because it was the day and time that the penny dropped as to the finalisation of the selection criteria the epiphany moment if you wish.
Now I just need to practice and refine but I didn’t want to break my new toy.
By the end of 2016 I had the 5 day betting bank concept because I was playing infinity stadium and was in need of handbrake rules as I was initially playing marathon sessions of 200,300,plus hands. For me I was like a pig in mud pure happy oink oink. I was still very much aware that anything I had ever done before regarding baccarat would always have a black swan event that is what makes me , you and everyone else constantly change what we do in regards to your approach to the game . Be it bet progression systems, long streaks, anti long streak, play only player or only banker. You all know whatever you used to do but don’t do anymore next again and next again. Etc etc etc

Once I settled on the recognition that you make +1,2,5,4 units early and in relatively short games the marathon sessions are not that many now ,80 hands in 50 minutes is not a marathon unless it’s into a 7 hours at the casino already and you keep going etc. By January 2017 I was confidently increasing my bet unit value slowly as I was still waiting for the other shoe to drop the total black swan event that must happen, it has always happened it’s only a matter of time this is the mental scars we carry in this job. By January 2017 I was on $50 units I was still getting unnerved about the 4 or 5 x $50 draw down during a game so then I started covering the the balance on the screen so I didn’t see my initial deposit of $500 down to $125 etc (as post before on this thread ) that was now another rule to help me etc. I continue to $60 in February then went up $20 to $80 then to $100 for a couple of months, end of 2017@$250 . Incidentally there had been baby black swan events but no bankdeath events maybe luck , definitely controlled flat bet a must and all the other rules and experience

$500 from February 2018 and yes some excellent profits.

To look at the June 2019 post and as you wrote you are down a complete 5 x 10 x $500 bankroll plus -11 extra units =-61 units that’s a YES and a NO.
At no stage was the bank roll at -61 units . The initial post states that I added a Day bank then another day bank but I also drew on the running bankroll H+ x unit as posted. I think day 01/06/2019 end of session the H+1 unit was end of day total. That means the first daily bank of 10 units was recovered H+ totals for the 5 games was
H+1,
H-9,
H-4,
H-4
H+1
End of day profit =+1 unit

The -61 units was a total that was recovered during play over the 4 days posted. It was never a H -61 unit post . That is an important post as I posted the comments in that posts of the first 4 days play.

The effect that had on me was to be more vigilant in my approach for the rest of that month as posted in the June posts. I mention that I use harsher stop profits for that month only and was in fact a self imposed disciplinary measure to keep myself inline as to the rule of play.

As you could see some posts over the 5 month posted some games you do drop the -10, -8,-x , -23,-17 but all recovered and the end of month total all above +100 units. In the last 3 and 1/2 years at various betting unit values $10,$50,$200 etc yes you get draw down of a daily bank or two, but as stated No have not lost an entire 5x 10x any value unit. This does not mean it cannot happen in the future and myself ,I’m prepared with the correct reserve bank roll , that just me, as I posted here before. If I lose today I can IMMEDIATELY return the next day fully funded, it’s a very comfortable feeling . As per the previous posts you would be aware that I don’t gamble even with the resources that are available to me. The resources are a direct product from not going the cash crazy gambling bent you witnessed at the table you described above in your post.

Zero or $300 , I will take the +3 units x what ever value the x unit is any day, as per post previously everyone thinks $30 or $300 is not enough but I tell you it’s better than zero. Yes it’s sad but that’s their life and they won’t listen to you anyway. I learnt that years ago and have posted here the same sentiments.

Here is a post from February page 2, start running bank H+170 unit, then dropped G-4,G-7 units =-11 units to finish day at running bank H+159 units. Yes that day we dropped a full daily betting bankroll as we posted a comment to posts below that entry as we also comment on the 17/02/2019 G-5 unit loss also, = -16 units

On the 14/02/2019 we did end down but once again the H+total was key , we had locked up daily bankroll already but yes technically it’s a one daily bankroll loss. In this situation and others that we face in the months play the two main important things are bet selection criteria and locking up the betting bankroll as soon as possible. That month we recovered the -16 in the next couple of days play and the running bankroll never dipped below H+159 units again, important point .
As I posted in say the June post once I locked up the betting bankroll I put in place a unusually tight stop loss on the profit running bankroll H+ X units ( page 9 this thread 1/2 way down ) . I was going to take a minimum of +40 units($20k) if the return of play on any day dropped-20 unit then we progressed it upwards as the running bank H + units increased , we are always going to protect the bankroll first. No bankroll no opportunity to make money. I can have a bankroll and I can have a 40 ,20 ,90 unit profit for the month and walk away and come back after a break , (no problem as I don’t set I must have 150 unit targets at start of month as previous posts) or decide that is enough for the month have a holiday etc . But I cannot come back if I don’t have a bankroll . So you can see some complex rules in place and variations of strict rules to become a guideline back to hard black and white ,no ,yes rules

At this point in time most months of play about +140 units , daily betting bank locked up and secure I would now start to look at the trailing profit stop. In May everything is moving very well, June we had that early -61 unit recovery 4 days play and as posted both months had 2 different stop profits in place. For the month of July we employe the May stop profit approach as we have had no major drawdowns nor the recoveries. As we stand in July at the running bank H +137 units I would stop if the bank H +137 would drop to H+120 units. I dont mind giving back 27 units of their money for two reasons . First as in the stock market you need a bit of leeway to maybe earn more money, remember our daily betting banks are secure, we have indicated to our self our bottom line for the current months profit ( +120 units/ +123 units etc ) and we may earn more. Always good. Remember we will adjust the trailing profit stop UP as the running bank H+ X units increases, we NEVER MOVE the trailing stop DOWN.

Secondly ---we are indeed always aware of our commitment to the Casino game, NO i havn't been banned but I dont take the chance to be wrong and get banned for winning too much, I rather err on the side of caution. So I dont mind telling them or showing them my losses. I dont know of another job that pays as well for so little time etc etc. In that case I dont mind dropping the 20 or so units of their money, Im in profit etc etc. Im building a relationship with my play , with my bank account, with the tax department for the next time they drop on by . I am achieving everyones kpi's .

So you should be able to understand the difference of dropping the value 2 or 3 daily banks( even -61 units) in the course of the months play to create a profit is considerably different to dropping 2 or 3 daily banks for no recovery and no profit . The latter has not happened to me using the current selection criteria AND is most likely the better answer to Jacobs question from some posts ago this page.

With the just written paragraphs this post in mind ,the month of August post will be an interesting months post in an epic sense .

Shoot, nearly 400 units, the month has been long . The last 5 days posted great returns +80 plus units, with 2 days to end the month I decided that was enough for me. The 2 x -3 unit games at the end reminded me thats 5 days play already ,break time, by pushing to get the 400 unit ,I could drop as low as 370/380 units . Enough

Next post will be the July totals ,plus the summary and then we will do the 6 month totals and averages.

I really enjoyed this month of July play, easy money ish, very similar to May, most games had that smooth +unit feel, that just lulls you into it, which can be a bit scary as next minute your balls deep in time and hands played on that game .

22 days play but with a lot of 8 days straight ,a 5day and a 7 day nice momentum play and only towards the end of the last day or two did i think the trailing stop profit may come into play. Over careful perhaps, but money in the bank ,excellent.

I know you have all kinds of info/stats in your journal and if you have it and are willing to share it would be interesting. Thanks again for your journal its motivational to keep looking for that magical bet selection. Also what did your slutty day consist of this month? just Degen gambling lol? You should learn poker (no limit holdem or Omaha) and just sit at a table full of the serious $1/$2 or $2/$5 gamblers and raise and reraise every hand preflop....

If I calculated this right your hit rate is 75.8% from your 5 month summary

Not quite correct the total hands for 5 months is 10794. The total winner hands is 6110 and the winner percentage is 56:6%, I could be wrong as I’m not big on math.

The 56:6% seems ok as a flat bet , the up1 down 1 unit progress bet is too volatile at 56:% for me, re time management to build the bet size on screen play, emotions etc already posted elsewhere this thread . I can do progressive bet if I have someone betting for me , they place bets, I data crunch plus I can add the base bet when needed , depending on the initial unit size

As per posts you can see what can be achieved flat bet at 56% ish and I usually just agree with those (pit boss,dealer etc)that say flat bet is a profit less exercise as A) I cannot be bothered anymore to explain to them and B) those clueless individuals are needed to keep the casino running for me, so keep them that way and C) I’m also playing the casino radar game.

I think I have mentioned a few posts that the win % is around 53% and above,or at least that should be your aim etc, I will look and let you know the post number and page for your reference

Slutty day. Yes I play poker love that game on Friday, early evening play every other month so the pros don’t get to work me out completely , lots of easy money from the pay check wannabes. Yes I know the pre flop raises, not my style because I still like making money than increase the odds to lose. Play maybe 2 hrs maximum, I seem to have a huge mental capacity to remember things , not quite photographic on everything but dam close. Poker is not so big an earnings as baccarat. Hardly ever play tournament live, too many cowboys running on luck.

Even though I’m sluting on I still like to earn money and try and keep it cerebral as possible and put very limited money into a slot machine as an example etc. Unless I’m chatting to a friend that’s happened to be playing etc. We don’t have video poker here as heavens forbid Aussie one horse town casino ever offer an + ev game opportunity.

Usually slut up on blackjack, Mississippi stud, and baccarat table play. Sometimes I bankroll a friend at baccarat as she has a pairs tie system and she’s great fun at table, she rarely wins a profit but it has merit. I also try different things on table , try out a thought or two, or just play table play with a fun group at a table making sure the pit bosses are involved with my table more than others. The casino game still has to be played,as posted about ,this thread. I never stadium play on a slut day , just another rule. If I know a dealer or pit boss at a roulette table I’ll play, just red black to get street cred as a gambler etc. Happy to play craps especially if I don’t know the dealer or pit boss and I play the Dumbarz etc. good fun

This slut day I actually stayed 2 night at the casino apartment, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, kitchen, ( I like to cook rather than room service as it’s always arrived in a so so condition imo ), lounge room , balcony view of the city nice. Not Vegas but nice nevertheless.
I usually don’t drink and play but slutty time is slutty time, this time played upstairs , free drinks etc so no driving finish up in hotel etc. hence the hangover epic
