As you can see vastly different from prev month play both in actual time played and number of days played. April numbers are 19;4 hours,176 units,15 days. We are talking units not value at this point in time, and the focus is always the unit, regardless of the unit value we assign to it. Constantly secure a unit return and the value will take care of itself automatically.

A couple of points to note. Not every month is this excellent start, some months are horror starts good endings, or just +150 unit months. I can and have on occasion taken the rest of the month off at this profit level ,as Im fresh and had no real plans for May other than stadium play I continued. {The month of June is my holiday month as I have many commitments in June, it has a different return to any other time of the year always but we will deal with that next month post.} One is on a natural high and the effort required to reign in the mind is quite huge. This is the part I do agree with the fly under the radar post of chewtoy thread and I see no positives from drawing extra attention to myself in the eyes of other patrons, other ground staff of the casino or to entertain a personal posse of which i have none. The casino already knows approx how much i have cashed out ,left in my cage account etc. The rest of the month play was done with limited card play and all transactions are tito if your careful not to heat up the tickrets they survive the 20 days you need them or you can recycle them through a machine in batches of $3000/$2500 etc. This is also a procedure of mine to limit the actual vale in the machine ,saves time from waiting for hand pay out [unless im doing the one big cheque from the casino ] cash out then put in lower denom tito to continue etc you can work it out as no further explanation is needed.

I lost a tito some years ago and was astounded to find after talking to my host re lamenting my foolishness etc that they can reimburst the ticket by checking the system to see if if has been cashed etc, they took me back to the machine I was playing pulled up the last 100 withdrawals and confirmed the tito , plus security , plus player activity etc and gave me a re write tito.. I was also told that a photo on iphone will suffice if all id numbers are in focus, so now i take photo of tito until end of month or when Icash them to take in cash home. You can lose tito rather easy especially if you have a number of them etc.

One last point as I was timed out on edit above post . I can tell you for a fact the tito event happened and the casino response happened as written. Just a side note 6651 hands have been played in this post from February to the 8th of may, excluding the ties, for a total time of approx 71 hours plus 925 units [ the unit is a bit above aver]. By years end 20000 played hands is easy at around 300 ish hours for the year. Some years more but around the figures posted is the average per quarter. Way less than a grind of a full time job working for someone else. Not as spectacular as the crash and burn progression junkies, but exciting enough for me .

This is a worthy note to make .
As you can see by the dates posted on the daily entry of stadium play I have played 12 straight day in a row from the 3rd of May until the 14th of May inclusive . That is a couple of saturdasys and sundays thrown into the mix. I have previously posted I dont play weekends as a rule . Yet here I have played through .

And why?

Short answer is momentum.

Sometimes momentum is a important aspect of what we try to achieve here. Iam well aware ,as you all should be also, that yesterday results are not indicitive of todays or tomorrows anticipated results, yet oddly it seems as the 12 days post suggests that there is a momentum of sorts occurring . It is very easy to get carried away with the results of profiting days posted , conversely if you are on a twelve day loss momentum you can get carried away also, {{one would hope 12 day loss you had a stop loss rule in place}} consider thats about 16 hours play approx over 12 days hardly a marathon grind session you see some folk do in a 24 hour period. So the time in between each day session to the next days session is at least 18 -24 hours. Plenty of time to think in a calm and rational manner, I have identified to myself that im in a momentum situation as per the first 7 days at 9 hours played posted having already grossed more than the WHOLE month of April posted.

This is my mind set in process , I elected to continue to play as per post of the 7 day summary [already posted ] because Im playing each day [weekend included ]to capture this perceived momentum I also have a trailing profit stop on the running bankroll H. Remember after the first 7 days played we are at H+180 units if and when bank H reaches 200 units my trailing stop is -20 units, so if i do lose i will finish for the month regardless of the date at H+180 units. As the running bank H increases so does the trailing stop example H+260 stop -20 units = H+240 units take rest of the month off etc etc. While each day of play unfolds Iam aware that it [ MOMENTUM ] must end, Iam still flat betting so the original goal is still in place as per my preferred betting strategy.

Finally on the 14 th of May i felt that the momentum had stopped. Why ?
Variance is one of the answers, I also think fatigue on my part, 12 straight days plus the travel time there and back plus other subtle sunderies and also pure and simple the easy ride was over. We had a loss of -5 units and a -7 units back to back , We started the day at H+283 units so my trailing stop was at H+260 units a nice take for 14 days play. I try to keep a realistic expectation of my rate of return. I will pause her and continue again next post

To continue from above post
The momentum was what it was and I found that I had to be not greedy as for lack of a better word, and i was lucky to get that 21 unit return on the last game of the day. At that point I also decided that I would take a couple of days off get refreshed and start again. The trailing profit stop was going to be -10 units so the minium i would finish with would be +292 units if I was to lose 10 units the first day back.

Because I work on the monthly cycle re the stadium play I find I risk the 5x10 unit betting bank to gain a profit then recover and secure the initial bankroll for the following month[Lock up] then I use the carryover bankroll to establish more profit but actually get to a stage in the month that I start to exercise the trailing profit stop loss. Some months the unit return is around +150 and rarely lower than that so from experience I tend to protect that amount once it has been reached. Of course if the month is not working well and Im struggling to get around that figue then its a case of the momentum is obviously in the variance's favour and I will stop take a break as in reverse of the above is happening, This is a tool in my favour to combat the urge to gamble {for lack of a better word} it really is one of the procedures I have in place, for me it works . Not quite mentally in the swing of things that day so took another day off. The trailing stop is -10 units until the end of months play I remember thinking at the time to much focus on the trailing stop and not enough on the game. When in doubt stay out. Take a break.

This is mostly why I try not to set predetermined goal per day ( -10 trailing stop) session play as you can become more obsessed/ focused on the goal and not your selection criteria or bet management , fatigue management, etc etc. In the above posted day situation I’m halfway through the month already at + 300 units profit, I’m thinking taking the rest of the month off. I’m also thinking push on make more have an easy next month, as well as thinking keep that stop profit tight . Way too many thought too much unnecessary self imposed distractions. I was creating fear in my game. Don’t need it. Take a day rearrange the attitude come back and continue harvesting in the best possible frame of mind.

This is a continued momentum after a break of a couple of days then another four day break, sometimes just that refresher break/breaks can alter the mindset then by coincedence the momentum of wins seems to reengage . As only a couple of days to the end of the month of May I choose to play each day to try and capture the perceived momentum but with a very narrow profit stop of -5 units. Note I do resist the notion of just "let it ride " style of betting for the rest of the month. Although some may say one could really boost ones earnings to make up for previous perceived losses I say why.
Why not safely harvest what I can in the least damaging way to my own bankroll, to my own mental and emotional wellbeing not to mention the steady profit Im in the middle of harvesting? As I have posted before I allocate slutty days to unwind with. If I do just "let it ride" I know within myself that I am leaving the door ajar to allow any and all gambling traits to sneak back in to my life and wreck whatever i have achieved so far.

May was a very good month, yes we put in 28 hours , yes we had some tough times , yes we had some procedures in place that where tested, yes we had to have our wits about us.

As per usual we for the sake of this thread will increase our UNIT value by $100 to a $500 unit flat bet. This by the way is my max preferred betting unit and I will not increase beyond $500 from June onwards. I have posted reasons previously etc etc. We as per usual will refer to it as 1 unit. The daily betting bankroll needed is as per usual 5 x 10 units x $500 = $25 000 we will deduct this from our profit of $311 600- $25 000= $286 600 .
We will as per usual lock up our holding profit $286 600
We will as per usual start the new month with our daily betting bankroll only.

Something I have been meaning to say but keep forgetting is as the month progressed the carryover running bank is NOT always deposited into stadium screen each and every day. I keep a totalled running tally for the sake of play posted on this thread. In reality I have between 20 & 30 units of that running bankroll broken up into bite sized mini banks(5 units and 2 units mini )that the terminals accept easily and I am able to deposit quickly as needed. 20seconds is not a long amount of time to mess about with loading money, but that’s something I wrote about on another post this thread. Etc.

That’s apart of the m m procedures and non tilting etc.
