Thanks now I’m informed and understand the context of the posts now. My apologies for MY wrong interpretation of the last couple of posts.
Have you considered my request that you post a thread regarding professional sports betting? I find it a fascinating topic, but yet have not mastered it to any tangible degree. I have read that some have made a rewarding career from it. Any pointers? Cheers

It was common among gamblers in Las Vegas never to spend too much time at any one casino but move on to the one with a reasonable amount of winnings not to attract attention .

A cluster of casinos in one area is always a preferred destination.

As I only have one casino in my skippy township ( at the moment) lol, and as I have previously posted I don’t find it applicable in this modern era. Perhaps in Vegas last century when mob ruled etc. yes that is a good statement of yours, I’m only assuming as I have never been to Vegas. But from an economic principle I would assume there is no “heat “ there this century unless of course you are that feared blackjack card counter zenking (lmao). To clarify I ASSUME if one was a AP via Tito, free meal, other players cards, blackjack counter etc( low life scum criminals activities imho, the key wording is my opinion) then perhaps there is some credence in your statement for this the modern era Nathan . As far as wins per slots jackpots, baccarat, roulette etc unless one is cheating/ suspect in a scam etc I cannot see the “ heat “ aspect. I had watched the movie Casino , etc also but I as I said put it in its historical context in which it was conveyed .
It would be nice to have a cluster of casino here in skippy village as I’m sure it would create competition whereas at the moment pre COVID we are only treated the way any monopoly organisation treats its clients.
So Nathan, is your statement a historical reference or is it still applicable to today for non AP play or just AP play? Cheers

During COVID it is a little hard indeed, most of the casinos are closed. But I guess even in small towns, if you are a profitable gambler that they are going to flag you as profitable player, don't you think? Of course, if you only have one casino in town you don't have any other option than to keep going to your default casino.

As previously posted this thread I play/played at a Government control casino and not a mob , bikie, Indian, or gang run joint. To me there is a difference , this SMALL town of Sydney you only get banned because of nefarious activities, your a show pony pain in the ass, bad and I mean bad personal hygiene, piggy back betting, hustling etc. lm a successful player, I have a host that takes care to say hi anything I need, even though this non player period due to COVID.
Yes you are quite correct in saying you are noticed but not in any negative context ( HERE in little skippy town of Sydney) yes you are correct that high flying gambler is noticed once again not in a negative manner. I would have to say it’s up to the individual how they handle the perceived status they have / don’t have.
Personally I don’t big note my self at the place I work (casino) to staff, patrons etc. my ego is not that in need of outside attention, perhaps in my opinion that’s why I’m rather successful in my casino activity.
    Cheers

For small steady profits it's fine in my case. I talk with them, we get along. The first casino I went ask me to go to more casinos (I was cashing out 5k a month), so I did! I go to 3 casinos now (before covid). I don't know any big gang that beats the casino over and over. But that is fine because if it's the drug folks, they don't give a shit. The chinese same. It's all about washing eheheh. I Mean, they get really mad and all, but they know that the 50k they brought can go down to 45k and still they will be back the next day (gangs are not very big thing here, this is not hong kong). They even let you get the profits. They have talked with me more then once but the maximum limit did not favour my strategy (they wanted me to play bigger chips adding their money). For single people per say I can only tell you that one time I was caught filming because I had this idea I wanted to show... And I was banned for a couple months from on of the casinos. They don't like that... Lucky for me was the casino near my house, so I talked with a couple friends that work there and it worked out. I think what Punkcity was saying is correct, it's about the bigger picture. Here they have like two floors full of slots, and they are packed with people! they have this games that literally (I know there is a section for slots but jesus... it's slots!) are sucking machines. On the roulette, any other game really its what I said before. I believe people like the ones in this forum (the anal dust forum... what a fun name), are the minority. Even the people here (getting cocky now), a lot of them talk over and over about a magic system for red and black and shit like that... for crying out loud! When I look at the roulette table, and I look a lot eheh, I almost feel like crying. It's a sea of "I got a feeling" and "here goes my pension fund" people jumping to the fucking blender. I have this guys making a win and saying to me "martingale you know..." and I can feel the ultra confidence coming out their eyes! At least for the next hour or two... This house furniture people in the beginning when they start to notice you they throw in what I call "the bible of doom". Hey man, you know, I'm going to give a tip, what you need to do is play a lot of chips, cover enough spaces, and choose a couple of them to load it big. that's how you make it! after a couple days, they still don't have a fucking idea of what they are looking at. You get real lucky, you're on a roll. next day, I'm going to start playing the same numbers you play, because you're hot (for christ sake... imagine how this makes my life easier). It's a fucking festival of chip towers falling all over the table... That was my biggest problem so far in casinos! Anyway, in the end of the month, I still don't see a robert de niro showing up. I guess casinos are doing fine taking it in the ass a little. they have a full row of cash cows to fuck on the other side of the spectrum. it's very hard to win at roulette. very few people are doing it consistently. if by some miracle the landscape changes, maybe joe pesci comes out of retirement to straight things up. Anyway, now that some time has passed. Do you still consider your post relevant? Have you become friend with the guys? Have you dated a croupier girl? Have you found your way?

Where casinos are located in an urban area it is advisable to carry also a "Ghetto Bankroll " of low denominations while the regular bankroll is well hidden . Just in case of any muggings within the perimeter of a casino.

Unless you are a Showoffski who likes to flash a big bankroll at the table .

Yes horses for courses, I know a few expats that have found themselves face down in the ditch, battered and bruised, and a lot poorer ( thankfully alive ) after flaunting the big greenbacks in Cambodia casino , lack of situational awareness, drugs , booze and total disregard of the local community lack of resources. Foreigners behaving badly due to their economic righteousness. Cheers

A little bit less paranoia would be in order. Casinos need a steady return business. They know that their loss to any player will come back sooner or later .

But a very small group of gamblers have ways of keeping what they have won. They have developed the art winning and keeping it.
