You can't step outside of probability and simply avoid the losing streaks. Otherwise, people could do the same thing with life. By avoiding the dying streaks, they could essentially, like vampires, live virtually forever.

4. They’re time travelers. They can travel both backwards and forward in time and can predict when bets are due to win!
5. They never have to pay a mortgage payment, rent, a car payment, or car insurance, because all of that stuff is for the long term folks. Duh!
6. They can jump out of plane and never hit the ground.

If you play each and every spin, you face the house edge mathematically.
If you play once every 10 spins, you still face the exact same house edge.
If you play once every 100 spins, wait for something specific, play random spins and not every spin, etc - yes - you still face the exact same house edge every time you place a bet. That is math and doesn't change based on the conditions you place on how and when or where to bet.
I try to base my methods on math, knowing full well that that house edge is there and doesn't change.
You're comment is wrong - so pointing it out of course. Playing "all" spins or "not all" spins does not change the mathematical edge that the house. I assume though that you know this.

Wrong - all betting schemes lose not due to losing streaks, but due to house edge -EV.
The losing streaks are no stronger than the winning streaks --
-- they cancel out each other, and what is left is the -EV.
