Punk's a few shillings short of a moron, actually.

If he was referring to me vis-a-vis college football, I was in weekly published newsstand publications, in televised competitions, and monitored by third parties who published results in annual reports for 40 years plus. Hard to fake what was on a newsstand for a couple of decades.

I mean, wtf, some anonymous idiot decides to lie about people who have been in the public eye for decades. Not only does he know nothing, he lies about it.

Yeah, Punkcity is quite a card. But it is the joker and except for Joker poker, useless.

Obviously his blackjack player comments are in reference to me. Problem is just about everything he said is incorrect, made up or exaggerated to make or enhance his point.

First, I haven't made 2 million playing blackjack. I have made just over 2 million dollars in total advantage play from about 6 or 7 different advantage play techniques over the years of which blackjack card counting is only one. It is the biggest one at about 1.6 million of my earnings, but not the only method. And this year blackjack card counting is only accounting for about 27% of my total AP win. And it will likely be that way going forward for at least a while.

And while it is true that over the last 2 years, I play very differently and less than I used to, playing mostly busier times (weekends) in the shadow of other bigger bettors, for 18 years I was a grinder type player, playing mid-level stakes and playing almost every day, 5-6, sometimes 7 days a week.

So don't believe what this guy says. Like many on these forums he just makes up what he wants.

This year I have played in Tahoe during one of our trips up there where we stayed part of the time in our own home, part in the casino, and also in Vegas, but no lengthy casino trips - been too busy traveling elsewhere, still traveling right now in the Tropics in fact, but will be back soon and in Vegas again for F1.

All gaming trips this year successful and brought home the deng!

    LOL

Per his report, the hound seems to spend all of his time positng on line, gambling in casinos, or traveling; living a life of wealth and extreme leisure; that's fine, but given this, how can he also hope to convince his detractors that he actually is able to put in the time necessary to maintain a thriving law practice?

To quote Firesign theater: How Can You Be in Two Places at Once When You're Not Anywhere at All?

As far an illustration of my recall abilities. Just one example. Decades ago my gf at the time and I went to this convention. I can tell you exactly what each speaker said word for word as to some of what they said exact facial expressions and what they wore. My memory is total recall just like that it’s almost maddening the clarity with which I recall almost everything that has transpired in my life dating back to when I was about four years old.

Why do you think MDawg almost always wins at card games - I can tell what has been played in the decks what remains and what it means mathematically at any given moment.

Casinos will just not sit there and allow someone to win, at the level and frequency that you claim, whether the player is doing something like card counting, hole carding, ace sequencing, edge sorting. They will figure these things out if they deem the player a threat.

And if the player is doing something they can't figure out, like you now claim with this "rainman" type total recall, they still will not just sit there scratching their head or balls and allow you to win like you claim. Casinos where your claims take place, Las Vegas, don't need to figure out what you are doing. If you are winning they can and will ban you.

That is where your little story and fantasy claims always fall apart, Mdawg. So the rainman "total recall" thing is cute, but it doesn't change anything.

Now go ahead, respond with some trolling because you can't answer this.

MDawg, if you do indeed have an eidetic memory, some advice:

Don't sleep with any ugly women. Or dudes for that matter. It'll mess you up.

I have a friend who's a psych prof. I suspect he has an eidetic memory, but he avoids direct displays. An eidetic memory has its drawbacks.

Well, best of luck, MDawg. I'll be heading there sometime soon. My better half is visiting Chicago open-ended until at least the 9th, so I need to wait on her return. Then I'll be heading west either that week or the next.

Do you drive much while there? Last time I visited post-racing in December, the traffic was a brutal mess. Is it still as bad as last year? I may just get a vehicle one day from a downtown place. It'll cost twice as much, but I really hated driving last year, so no reason to torture myself with an overpriced rental for a week.

Right now driving you mostly need to avoid the Strip. The best routes are all west of the Strip right now if you need to hop from one Strip to another.

Of course Vegas is far less crowded now than it was over F1 weekend but I would not say dead.

I rented a vehicle for the week in December. Dirt cheap. They tried to give me an electric, but I explained that I hoped I wouldn't wreck it since I had never driven one, which I stated in front of multiple people. The guy at the booth then decided I needed a nice gas-powered SUV. I love it when a plan comes together.

Anyway, traffic was brutal, as the F1 stuff had not been cleaned up entirely. Took an hour and 10 minutes to go airport to downtown (stayed at the GN). Then took an hour 30 minutes to get to South Point. Too much going on, including the NBA in-season mini-tourney.

Will probably stick with a one or two day rental from wherever I'm staying next time. Driving is a royal pain. I stayed at the Tuscany my last night, as usual, but that whole block of Flamingo was closed, so I had to maneuver between cones for 200 yards to get to the Tuscany. Getting in and out via vehicle was a hassle.

That route I mentioned to you in the past - going through Howard Hughes Parkway, passing by the Wells Fargo and Park Towers is the way to go through there (Tuscany to Sands Ave.), although during F1 I was mostly taking the route west of the Strip, via the Rat Pack roads (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr.), to go to casinos such as Cosmo and Caesars, and also to go from them to Wynn, Venetian, Palazzo.

Another little trick if you are headed east on Spring Mountain, to go to Palazzo, or even just to bypass any traffic at the corner of the Strip/Spring Mountain, cut through T.I. and then either go straight through to Palazzo, or right to any other casino.

There are also little shortcuts using Channel 8 Dr and Convention Center Dr to wind your way behind the Strip east of Resorts World.

Koval is the way to bypass the Strip when you're east of it, but Koval is too impacted during F1, which is why why the west Rat Pack roads were the way to go.

As far as Strip to downtown, there are two routes, one is I-15 the other is Paradise, take Paradise if I-15 is impacted. Going south from the Strip though, I-15 is generally faster than going straight down Las Vegas Blvd., even if there is traffic on I-15.
