MDawg, thank you for the excellent summary. This is one of the values of having someone who actually hangs out in LV as a source of information.

Back in the day, I lived for a couple of football seasons on Convention Center Drive at a place called the Convention Center Lodge. Very convenient to the Stardust across the street.

I just wanted to note that I was intimidated by the re-routing west of the strip on Flamingo. It was brutal. I tried to circle around to the LV Advisor office on Procyon but gave up. Also, I agree with you. I hate I-15 because it's so time-dependent, but it probably is the way to go. The other thing is, Flamingo was closed for the block from which you enter the Tuscany, so that was tough maneuvering.

And now seems a good time to mention -- this kind of info is why I first started reading the Best Buys forum when Mendelson owned it. It had real, practical value. I have posted on occasion about proper patterns of driving and parking to do futures surveys for sports betting in LV. That is boots-on-the-ground reality stuff. Some people post detail-less, anonymous Las Vegas alleged gambling info with nary a detail to let you know they are in LV as opposed to Boise. A police interrogator would have a field day pointing out why nobody buys their storylines. They try to draw comic book panels with no backgrounds.

Been kicking arse in Vegas December / January not without losing sessions and major comebacks but over all - winning heavily.
