There is no cliff with this one. Even those that can't make it work are just below the break even point. Those that have it working are far above the break even point. It's a method to use self control and situational awareness. As much as people being created equal goes, well that is not always true. Those that work for things are often the ones that reap the rewards. It is clear that people have taken short cuts in hopes of finding an easier path. It's a well practiced skill not a mechanical set of rules. It's not for everyone. If a person has a perfect continuing stretch of bad luck that does not mean that this does not work. It just means that the person it happens to is just perhaps proof that luck matters. That is why a lot of people reject this. But there is no cliff for lemmings to jump off.
