Sports Betting The Limper NBA – Week 2/11/20 - 2/13/20

The model had a much better week than anticipated, the failure triggers have quieted, so rather than suspended posting now, I’ll continue posting until (and if?) the ATS win rate drops below 54% - which will happen, sooner or later. GLTA

 

Skunked!!! I’m taking that as a sign from the betting gods that it’s time to take a break. I’ll post tomorrow, but then the Limper is on hiatus until the playoffs. GLTA

Silver suggests changes so often that I'm not sure what's been put in place versus just hypothetical discussion.

 

In terms of what I’ll post, no changes expected to the format: the day’s projections and the previous day’s results. There’s been some changes in the algorithm’s calculations: specifically, the addition of a game-age variable, which considers the total minutes an individual player has put in during the regular season and their age. It’s something the good fantasy websites track, and surprising just how significant it can be in the playoffs, in terms of production
