It’s strange that you mentioned in your article about meeting the captain at the Claridge casino. I would have guessed that it was the Resorts casino.

Since I , too, played at the Claridge casino for many years … I don’t remember running into any large crap groupies at the tables. However, my playing was primarily on weekend late nights. To me the Resorts casino seemed to attract the larger type groupies.

But, I do remember John Patrick giving seminars, and sponsoring his typical casino action plans at the Claridge.

I even remember running into Zeke Feinberg & Jerry Patterson at the various casino’s. (other gaming authors)

Although our paths may have crossed during the Claridge years I would be interested in what years when you and the Captain/crew frequented the Claridge casino.

    Thanks Frank.

My main Claridge times were earlier.

When the Claridge first opened in the early 80’s it seemed like they had about seven or more crap tables but, as time went by … so did the crap tables go bye-bye. It changed from one of my main places to play craps to others, as more casinos opened.
