A couple of weeks ago I played a hand of craps that still bothers me. It was my last chance to play so I just bellied up and put my money down. The player to my left, we will call John, was a little loud but that doesn't bother me in fact sometimes I prefer it. The shooter 7nd out. John loudly says something along the lines of can't anybody shoot worth a shot a round here!

Now the dealers all seemed to know him and did nothing to discourage him as he repeated this rant with each shooter and Chase off player after player.

I never saw him make a bet for the dealers and he appeared to be losing heavy at least to this low roller. He was not playing very smart betting across. Betting hard ways and hop bets. Along with other stick bets.
I was mad at myself for not leaving sooner. But the SOB kept saying this was his last try. So I would pony up on the pass line, then he would pull out a other 3 or 4 hundred and keep playing.
I sure some of you have had simular situations. What would you have done?

First of all, I would get a greater chance of having this question answered. Google is your friend, let it direct your paths.

The last time I ran into a guy like that was in Biloxi at the Scarlet Pearl. He kept bitching about every number I tossed because it wasn't the number he was betting on (he was hopping numbers and betting a lot of Horns and Yo's). He also kept tossing in late bets. Finally, on a late bet when I was about to toss the dice I set the dice down and had the stickman take them back to the middle, then said, "Hey you! Gilligan! (He looked like Gilligan from Gilligan's Island). It looked up and I said something to the effect of "Yeah, I'm talking to you, dickwad." Then I told him that the when the dice were out the betting period had ended. That meant hands were to be up off the layout and he was to shut the fuck up." The boxman rebuked me for language. I rebuked the boxman for "letting hit nimrod repeatedly bitch about every toss, throw in late bets repeatedly and abuse his dealers on every bet." Then I returned to Gilligan and continued to rant on him explaining to him that "Next time you len over the table and toss in a late bet I will put the dice in your ear, you understand me?" I also told him to keep his remarks to himself about what rolled and to either say "thank you" to the dealers for the payoff or to make his next bet while the bets were in the middle and then shut up." The hand continued. Gilligan was a church mouse. And when my hand eventually ended he colored up and left the table.

Look, I'll give the Table Games Supervisor an opportunity to correct a situation with a simple, "Hey, Bob. Do I have to listen to this guy bitch about everything every toss?" If he doesn't correct the problem - I will. If they want to 86 me? Who cares. I'm better off leaving the joint anyway.

I was just getting started at a Roulette table that was just opened one afternoon where a poker tournament had a four day run. This guy walks up that was in it and was just waiting for his name to be called. So He stood across from me and started that trash talk that poker players like to do when they want to get into another players head. I was concentrating on getting 24 numbers covered while this obnoxious and loud jerk would just hammer me with questions he didn't really expect to be answered. I noticed that I was the only one on the table with chips so I raked all my chips back to me while the ball was still spinning and turned to MR Happy and asked him "what do you want to know?" He was shocked and shut his mouth. So I asked him again "what do you want to know?" He said he had never seen anything like that before. So I said "now you have, what do you want to know?" The dealer had to tell the jerk that I knew exactly what I was doing. I just stood there and waited for his reply. He wondered off toward the poker rooms with his friends. Then the Roulette table filled up and went back to normal. It was funny. I made him stop with the crap.

    Yea, they're out there.
    Nice job Heavy.

When they start acting like assholes, I'll break their balls back.
However, sometimes I just don't want to be bothered with the ass-hats, and I'll pack-up and walk.
Who the hell needs the agita!

    Happy Tossing!

Is there more than one craps table there? If so, move; if not, leave or go sit in the bar 'till he taps out.
    Cheers,
Alan Shank (Yes, I'm still alive!)

This was at Island View on the non smoking side in Gulfport. The only other table was a $15 on the smoking side and was full. So as I said this was my last chance to play, so I hopped on without scouting it out first. My bad.
