Forex Were you one of the world's best traders trading demo?

I thought that this question might start an interesting and useful discussion, as it gets right to the core of why so few traders really become consistently successful. My own opinion is that unless you have reached at least a 100% return on your demo account, you are unlikely to do anything but lose money on a live account. But, even if you have succeeded in doubling or even trebling your demo account, this is by no means a guarantee that you will get anywhere near that on your live account, and this is the paradox, as many of us have found out. It would be interesting to get your thoughts and own experiences of this. Perhaps you made the transition from demo to live easily and successfully, in which case, we all have a lot to learn from you, or perhaps you didn't bother trading demo at all but just started with very small lots on a micro account. Or are you one of the many who couldn't fail to make loads of money on your demo account, but are currently tearing your hair out because you cannot do anything but lose it on your live account? Either way, let's hear from you as we can all learn from each other.
