Again with the good analogies. I used to do home brewing. I was a mead maker and had seven first places for home brewing.

Funny story: There was a kid in my church that I was told had a drinking problem. The elders and his parents had tried to fix the issue to no avail. I asked if could try. I taught him how to home brew and once he understood that alcohol was basically yeast piss and got to see it during the fermentation process in all its disgusting frothy glory, as predicted his drinking problem vanished. LOL.

I agree beer is disgusting I haven't drank it in years. I prefer distilled alcohol as in rum, my current favorite, and 12 year old scotch on special occasions. Alcohol was first distilled in Europe by the Catholic Church, believe it or not. Around the 12th century two Catholic monks we're in Paris on a holiday and they saw a perfume still, a device for making alcohol for perfume, for sale at a flea market or what passed for a flea market in the 12th century. They bought it took it back to England and started making distilled spirits with it. I say England but it might have been Ireland or Scotland.
Needless to say it caught on rather quickly.

Like they say in Scotland " Never drink Scotch without water and never drink water without Scotch."

My specialty was mead and I was friends with the guy that collected all the wild hives around Las Vegas. He then traded the local honey with bee-keepers from several states. He used to get all these weird rare honey's. One of the best meads I made was from Mint Blossom Honey. Mint only blooms once every three years, and was a very dark almost black and strong flavored honey. Not really good for eating but great for brewing. He also had some honey made from the "deadly nightshade" which was oddly narcotic. Turned out the mead made from it was a perfect remedy for woman's menstrual cramps. I also experimented with melomels honey + fruit juice. I made one with pear juice and didn't factor in the tryptophan content. It was tasty but no one got through a shot of the stuff without taking a long nap:) My mother nicknamed it Thorazine Mead.

Final funny:I made my own label and on the back it clearly sated that "The surgeon general has determined that use of this product may be dangerous to the people and things you fall on!"

I keep thinking about this post of yours and I just wanted to clarify and make sure I understand what you were saying. I have no intention of agreeing or disagreeing, I just want to make sure I grok your viewpoint. Is this a valid summation?

You accept that detected patterns have absolutely zero influence on the next outcome...but they can influence your decision on the next outcome, which can indeed make a difference. This requires a great deal of study and practice.

    Does that sound about correct?

Absolutely. They can influence your decision on the next outcome because roulette is only made up of 37 or 38 numbers and at any given time a third of those numbers are probably sleeping. So the patterns and trends they produce are mind-numbingly repetitive. If you were dealing with just twice as many numbers that wouldn't be true at all. So if you look at the outcomes for a long enough period of time you can get a real feeling for what might be coming next and you're in a position to make an educated guess. Keep practicing and you can get fairly good at it. Like I keep saying over and over this isn't done overnight, it literally takes years to get where playing it is worthwhile.

Cool. This is one of the few times in my life when I conversed with someone on the internet with divergent opinions from myself and was completely able to understand their viewpoint. I credit all your awesome analogies, metaphors, and patience.

I can now see the writing in the sand!

What do you mean exactly, that you see the writing in the sand. You say you understand what I'm saying but you don't say whether you agree with it or not or think I'm totally full of blue mud.

I was referencing your analogy of the random ocean waves making patterns in the sand.

It was a positive not a negative comment.

You're still not saying whether you agree with the way I play, that it could work, or if you think I'm totally full of it. From your avoidance of the question I take it to mean the latter. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I agree that over time you can see patterns and have a good assertiveness of where the roulette ball will end up.
there are times when I can even guess 2 to 3 full numbers and get it right.

    Thanks for your question.
We should bet on the opposite side of the streak.
When we have BBB we bet P for the next 2 hands.
You can use progression or flat bet as i said in theory we can win but in practice is a different story.
This is because we usually have 2-3 losing bets and after that we win but in a very bad run anything is possible.

My basic baccarat strategy is this. Go against repeating a pattern.

It s not about any pattern it s about this pattern.
Every pattern has its own probability.
But whatever pattern you use the key is one and only one.
The right time to bet which as far as i know it s almost impossible to know by anyone.
For example if you wait for PPP or PPPP and after that you place your bet that s a +EV bet.
But it deosn t mean you will win every shoe.

Exactly, I'm just trying to get a positive variance.
I make my profit and stop.

Another thing you can try if you have not tried is to watch a shoe without betting
and when you see a huge gap between B and P take advantage and bet on the weak side.
I haven t checked this method much in baccarat but should work.
But again the whole key is the timing and i do not know if somebody out there have sold this matter or if it s possible to solve it.

It is solved but the setup only happens in maybe 9% of shoes.
