What if someone is winning with a system even Its proven to lose in the long run ... should he stop playing it ?

Easy example RRRRBBBBRR ... use a 10 step martingale and bet the opposite . Of course it will bust. But if this person enjoy this game and play once every 3 month...should he stop playing? ( it may never bust in his life ) .

Or use a hot numbers method with a 50u session bankroll . Should he stop playing ? ( he might make thousands in profit in his life)

    Thoughts pls
(He knows it can bust , he dont claim its a HG , for amusement only )

A good analogy would be the lottery here in the US.

People have a 1 in 292,201,338 chance of winning. (Powerball)
So you could reliably tell people to NEVER play this - you have no chance of winning.

But you would never say this to someone who just won 750 million.
It would be silly to tell them "You shouldn't have played, knowing you had no chance of winning"
People are fine with risking a small amount against astronomical odds - because there ARE
winners, and they have the same chance as anyone else. The winner had no special reason for winning.
All of the many past winners wouldn't "change" anything would they ?

But sure enough - even with roulette you can win over and over, even though you are NOT supposed to win, and if you do "Well, you'll pay it all back" (nonsense).
Most of the players at any table walk away with a loss, very few leave with any profit. (but they do).
So it's like telling that lottery winner that they shouldn't have played, knowing the massive odds
against them - what FOOLS ! Meanwhile someone is spending $750,000,000.00
Too bad no one was with them when they bought the ticket telling them "You're just going to lose"

I proved in another thread that out of every 37 people that go into a casino, 36 will win.
That makes your odds of winning pretty darn good.
    https://www.gamblingforums.com/threads/37-people-go-into-a-casino-and-the-house-edge-appeared.12616/

But none of that matters to people who firmly believe there are no ways to win.
And it doesn't matter to the people who DO win.

TG, i brought this up coz a funny/sad story of a few months back...

Me and bro at the casino. He on roulette playing hotties as i showed him how to play. And i was at the pokertable. At one point he tried to get my attention but i was busy playing and doing pretty good.... by the time i came back i saw a bunch of chips in front of him. So i asked what happened...He said #29 just hit 8 times in 90ish spins. As he played my positive progression......He cashed in big time.

With that profit he earned a loooooot of new session br.... in fact if he dont raise his session br he might never lose

And how did he win??? By grabbing 6 lottery tickets, let them compete with them other, return the other 5, so it was a sure winner!

No...it was pure luck! No skill!

Do I think you have made money with your system, YES, I sure do!, are you in big profit? YES that might be possible! Is it skill??? Did you beat the odds??? No it was LUCK!!! Good for you turbo!

You see it's the same with GURUS in the stock market... for as long there were stock markets there where people who got it right for year after year. People are hanging onto their lips, for secret info on how to trade...

Until they went bust, no in stead of waking up, and try something else, they will find another guru. you see even an monkey is throwing darts is right once in a while... or should I say turbo.

Hi "Turbo Suicide" here you have 4000 more spins, I see that it does not matter to continue creating false expectations in people. Some casino must pay you very well. If everyone knew how to program to deny all their claims, you would be very alone in this forum. I hope the people from here stop paying attention. You have no idea of roulette. You are a smoke seller.

So you just showed 35 out of 37 people won.

    Nice.

    Hmm.
Smoke indeed, thanks for proving me right

As you can see, the sum of the two numbers they lose is greater than the sum of the 35 numbers they win. Total profit = -1.031

    This was your summary:

6,861 spins total (all players combined) and $9,375.00 profit total (or 375 units)

But as you can see, it's not always like that.

but you as always, painting things pink.

    Turbo,

How much did you win with your system last year on live tables with real money?

If the number of spins is not too large for the law of large number to apply then yes you can be on the right side of the curve... You should even apply a positive progression, but nothing guarantee that you'll be on the right side of the curve and you'll still have a big hammer above your head.

Till it is to have fun it's cool...once you think you're THE ONE and that you have a can't lose system, you started allready to lose your head...

    All systems lose when simulated

I don’t post anymore because I’m sick of the same people Rehashing the same things

a million spin RNG test doesn’t simulate real world play

    I’ve been playing two columns with a 4 step 1 3 9 27 progression successfully

why post it? To hear people say it doesn’t work? Working fine for me.

Yes totally useless to say it, because if it works for you , it won't work for 1000 people who'll try it , some will make better, some will be in the average and some will lose big... So how people know where they'll be? They can't know and same case with any other methods. Pff still haven't understand this simple thing. I could say oh people i play number 33 and it works so fine for me, wow!

I've always been tempted to use that progression with my knowledge of Reading Randomness. My AI software for double dozens is here for free to be downloaded. I think I will try it out. I don't lose four in a row very often with double dozens. I once wrote a sim that investigates four in a row from a most unlikely set of circumstances. It broke even.

I am surprised the RG needs to resort to a 4 step martingale with his latest method of bet selection .

I even avoid the 1 -2 step at the EC bet . We have talked about the 2-1-2 series betting option earlier .

With your reading randomness a person should get an idea how the average length of a streak ca be expected to go on .
