Baccarat Who actually makes a living here playing baccarat?

    It's possible to win well and regular at the baccarats on a bets flat basis with no progression or money managements needed, hey hey.

    Like button disappear. But you're totally right.

    So far when i write down my track record playing live dealer online.

    My percentage just 51,48 % right from 1756 bet decision.

    Just for test playing game apps. Win percentage is 54,9 %. But i dont know if i can maintain the range winning in long term like i did in real bet.

    But so far still above 51%. But must improve bet selection method so maybe can close to @Punkcity which maybe around 55% when above ten thousand bet decision

    What you say have the right in one side. But to winning the game not just only money management.

    Yes i know when someone have good money management can win although the win bet decision below 50 %.

    But others can win too although his MM is flat bet like @Punkcity

    To have success have various ways. Not just one way.

    I am still not like you do / junket king / punkcity / jimske / somebody else playing baccarat.

    Hope one day i can be like all of you.

    Man. I thought my intelligence could get through this thread but all it does is have me reach for a Goody’s powder for my head. So much internal as soxfan says “nonsenses” from so many posters that I have a massive headache. Why can’t we talk about ways to beat the game instead of a bunch of psychological mumbo jumbo? Trying to assess game theory and applying it to just an everyday session at the tables is foolish and a waste of time. It seems there is a battle here between bet selectionists (those looking for the edge) and money managers. Personally I don’t find any possible advantage with so many card combinations. And if there is I might miss it being at another table, so therefore I rely on my money management abilities to control my losses and hope to sail forward into some wins.

    ugh. Where are my Goody’s?

    Despite the fact that people bash soxfan on here, at least he says what he’s doing which is betting on Banker every hand. MOST others are just waxing poetic breathing out hot air.

    Just a an addendum. The person who took me was my once a week baby-sitter / Tutor and the son of our house keeper. He was just a young bloke in college that needed a little extra cash. However in addition to his wage my Father gave him a nearly unlimited expense account to take me wherever I wanted. So naturally he talked me into going all the places he wanted to see but couldn't afford...LOL...

    I returned to this post of yours because it really highlights one of the greatest problems we face in society. We judge our courses of action and other people by their outcomes, often irrespective of the decision making process.

    I think it would be an improvement to judge decisions on process rather than outcome, but obviously, it would be lunacy to ignore results entirely--so where is the happy medium?

    Where is the Baysian line in the sand?

    I believe that line is simply the percentage of your decision that influenced your results.

    In other words if you are doing something "special" on Wallstreet that no one else is doing, you'd compare your results to the results of people not doing what you are doing...and then, and only then take as much pride and alter your future choices by the percentage of differential.

    Essentially, five wins in row is irrelevant if the janitor that flips coins and bets his tips is matching you.

    P.S. Most successful stock prognosticator of all time was a sports reporter that based his predictions on who won the world series. He never dabbled himself...

    You are correct in that Money Management is not enough. You must have a suitable strategy that works well with your chosen Money Management strategy. But trust me the Money Management is the hardest bit.

    There is NO EDGE. What don't people understand. With Roulette you can get a REAL edge because wear and tear on the wheel allows for that potential possibility. You could get an Edge if you are counting cards. You could get an Edge if the cards have manufacturer defects. Shit you can get an edge past posting and being a CHEAT.

    Money management is the only way. The casino's knows that it is the only way. That is the VERY reason they have Table limits on everything. Because Mathematically speaking the "tide has to turn eventually" If someone was adequately funded they could profit from that turn.

    Same with counting cards once the edge has its highest potential you wager more. The higher a streak goes diminishing probabilities says its increasingly becoming more UNLIKELY that the streak continues. Not impossible but unlikely.

    We can beat a dead horse. But there is two camps. One that believes you can beat a Negative expectation game and the other that says you can't outside of the aforementioned. There is no point in arguing against someone's opinion.

    Just thought I would post this for any future seekers. I'm not arguing math but even math has its limits outside of random. Just like in Roulette "Anything is possible" BUT. You will NEVER see 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13 all roll sequentially. There is a mathematical reason for that. But I digress.
