Poker Why did you decide to play in tournaments and not in cash games?

    Yesterday I played in a 2.20 tournament. I played exactly 7 hours, I took 222 places from more than 4000 players and won only 6.6$
    I think that playing a cash game for example on NL2 I would have won a lot more during the same time on
    But for some reason I still try to play more in tournaments, hoping to win it , although there is no certainty that this will ever happen/

    Why did you decide to play in tournaments and not in cash games?
