Roulette Roulette as a Business

Per Lungyeh's idea of gambling with a small startup cost I present this:

I will try to play one practice session every morning at around 100 spins per session.

That represents about 3 hours play at a busy B&M casino.

Here is this morning's practice session using the software I designed so that my only student could not cheat.

As you can see by the graph, I won 55 times with 5 virtual wins and 1 virtual loss.

I lost 35 total bets with 1 being a virtual bet.

The first 10 spins were no bets just to get the chart going. I used on no bet in the middle by accident. But I added an extra spin because of that.

The win to loss ratio was 63.6% to 36.4%.

In that practice session I used Lungyeh's advice to me from many years ago to use 20 times the small bet value for attacking bets, or the big bets.

By using $5 chips on 18 to 20 numbers I'm placing $0 on virtual bets and $90 to $100 bets on the big bets.

I use a $2,000 bankroll or the amount of 20 total net losses at the big bet price.

Lungyeh also advised me a long time ago to not stop at 3 net wins. He suggested I play out the day or session seeing what randomness would produce, knowing that I knew how to protect against prolonged losses.

So I'm presenting what really happens when you have 6 parallel data streams and the expectation to have around a 2 to 1 wins to losses ratio in the long run in a so called 50% / 50% game.

 

Legend:

" " (empty space) in the win/loss column means loss
"X" in the win/loss column means win
" -" in the win/loss column means virtual loss
"X-" in the win/loss column means virtual win

"NB" in the win/loss column means no bet

In the practice software if you place "0" in the value for the next bet, designated by the X's text entry window, and then make a bet selection, then the software designates the win or loss as virtual by placing a "-" after the result.

At the end of each line is the bet selection made for that spin.

You can read the running up or down total for the result of each bet placed on each line, unless you did not make a bet selection in which case a "No Bet" was recorded.

I turned down his $50,000 bankroll at 70% / 30% split. It was a great offer BTW. I want my freedom. That was working for the man again.

Nope, I'm doing this because I used the last year to save up for it.

 

I didn't know about the $50k BR, should have taken it and relocated inter-state. Or at that value, he'd probably hand deliver it, in which case you hire the services of a few characters, if you get my drift.

 

Things were not right when the offer was made. I was still trying to make RR work on double dozen bets, (24 to 26 numbers). I was ready to quit when someone posted a video about trading stocks like a casino. I went back to Even Chance bets and constructed rigid MM rules in order to get full self control. The time for offer had past. No big deal. I can't imagine being in a foreign country when covid-19 hit. When the casinos closed I would have had no income. I'm just glad how it all worked out. You are alive. I'm alive. It's all good.

Thought I'll revisit your method and give it a spin even though I did not actually succeed with live play (maybe just unlucky to hit losing sessions when I did play it, although I played your old way to 3 wins or 7 losers). I like to combine EC's if the opportunity shows hence my win % is only at 40%, but most bets were 8-9 numbers. I don't know how to paste in the session the way you did so just a chart screen.

 

From the graph view I can see that you used many virtual bets. That's good. At first they stopped a free fall, even though you went down anyway. But that was good. Then it started to level out and you began a steady grind upward. It's proof that the math is worthless. You had 27 wins and 40 losses and yet at $5 chips, ($90) bets, you managed to walk away with +9 units in 67 bets.

Yep, those combo bets are tricky but are highly profitable when they are hitting. It's no different than straight EC betting. There are phases where it works and phases when it does not work. That is the secret to all this. If you had losing sessions in real play then you must act accordingly. You must defend the phase with virtual bets.

In my case at a real casino I just bet a minimum bet of $5 on red or black. This is a substitute for a virtual bet and satisfies the casino's rule to bet something every bet.

 

Wanted to see if I can repeat that, took twice as long, but similar result and Win% (41%)

 

You are way better at using the virtual bet than I am. I like to just go with a better looking trend. But sometimes you just have to stop the free fall. I see that you are getting good at combo bets.

 

For some reason its easier with your practice software than with real money, even though I am following same rules, but I'll run few more practice sessions and maybe try live play again.

 

If your live play is online then expect to be cheated.

And also, at a B&M casino it's takes having the groups memorized and completely down pat so that you can chart them and also get the bets down in time.

 

No other way for me but play online, also not all practice is smooth although I did end up in small profit, probably should have stopped earlier.

 

Wow, that was a long drawn out war. The last bet was half the sixes.

 

Here is my next session. I stopped at just above 50% won of my bankroll of $2,000.

That was a very fast session and nice profit. I'll run few more later. Don't mind a longer run but I should have a spin limit too since sitting for too long in online or b&m setting means more chances to make mistakes.

 

Decided to try playing only combos if viable setup present. Much nicer climb then my previous sessions

 

This is sort of interesting. I've never seen anyone go after the combo bets. I think I will try it with the 1.5 software. It creates better looking telemetry.
