Feedback How come a member here is able to get away with insulting another member?

@Admin Team How come a member here is able to get away with calling another member a CUNT in six different posts on the same day??

By far not for the first, second or third time the same said member has done this, in fact i've lost count. Once again, posts are partially hidden, and poster punished with a wet bus ticket until the next time. We had profile descriptions, resulting in rule changes, the works, yet it still continues.

I'm beginning to wonder is it because of who is on the receiving end that no action is taken, other than what you have done above, hidden the offending post with a tea towel!!! I could think of a fair few members who if they were called a CUNT half a dozen times in a single day, the offender would be well gone by now. Yet it continues until the next time hey!!!

 

How many times have I reported this member for his language? Most be over a dozen time now, no given today's out bursts it must be close to 20. how many warnings have been issued?

There are disagreements, there are spats, however not many resort to calling others A CUNT so blatantly, so openly, repeatedly and has done so for close on six months. yet it continues. Covering the offending posts with a tea-towel doesn't really cut it if they are left to repeat the offence over and over. As I said I can only surmise it has to is down to the person making the complaint, because it appears in this case these so called rules of respect are being ignored, it's difficult to see any other reason. It's one thing calling out people vs calling them "a cunt".

So how many warnings does it take before any member isn't allowed to call another other member A CUNT?

 

Well I grew up in England where that's just another word. In fact one of me best mates and ex-employer is cockney. He actually introduces me to new people by telling them, "He's a bit of a cu%^ and a wanker but he's not a right cun%". Then we all laugh. It's only really bad if you add the word "right" as a prefix.

That being said, insulting profanity is the sort of thing that one might think would be inappropriate for a forum of this type.

Course, you're all a bunch of wankers...just not right wankers!

There was nothing endearing in the manner which soxfan used the term. While it is only words on an internet forum and doesn't bother me, it is still against the rules.

It begs the question, if I ask a mate of mine to start calling out people on this board let's say a Yanky Cunt, let's see how long if they can get away with it, let's see if they are still able to post after half a dozen warnings, never mind NINETEEN of them!!!!

Really?? The said member repeated calling another member A CUNT not long after. So do prey please enlighten us all how they did not get away with it over 6 months of calling another member A CUNT, other than merely throw a tea-towel over the offending post, which in all honesty is purely tokenism (blah blah, we don't delete posts, yeah fella I seen it before).

Obviously no action take, because soxfan ignored warnings in this thread and once again called another member A CUNT

Shame your partial how you apply the rules around here. Maybe another anonymous admin can look into the 20 complains I've lodged regarding a member calling another member A CUNT. Let's us know how often the roster changes and I'll lodge the complaint accordingly

 

I know how your moderation works, I don't have to carefully read your links, there is no misunderstanding, it's subjective, it's biased.

Nobody would be allowed to call another A CUNT twice, let alone 20 times on any moderated forum, NOBODY.

No matter how you try and dress it, it's all to do with the protagonists in the spat, it's that simple.

How many reports did I lodge of this cretin posting "retard limey Cunt", only for the Admin of the day, to come back and say "there is no proof it was aimed at you", yeah fucking right.
