What are you nuts? (I guess that is already obvious). I call people out that are making up BS to mislead and harm other members and players.

There have only been 4 including T3 and in each time I have been proven right. And 3 of you 4 (you, Singer and Dog) then go on a tirade trying to discredit me with lie and personal attacks. T3 to his credit was a gentleman and didn't do that, but instead later admitted he was mistaken making assumptions based on a small sample size and when he played more (larger sample size) his results came back to expectation. The rest of you just continue to lie.

Again, only 4. Have I called out mickeycrimm, Axelwolf, MaxPen, even Monet, some of whom have issues with me based on personal things? No of course not because the math works. It is legit. Have I called out any card counter with regards to claims? Nope. The math works. But people making claims that can't be because the math doesn't work, that I feel is harming others, I have a right to call out.

Now as I have said numerous times, you are a little different in that it wasn't about your math. It was about limits and playing Reno. A player can not play the limits necessary and play frequently enough in a small, sweaty location like Reno to play professionally. Just can't be. THAT is what I called out and now you have admitted it. So I don't know why you are so mad at me. YOU admitted it and proved me right. I am sorry if my calling this out screwed up your little dream of being accepted as something you are not.

Why the hell didn't you just come out and be honest, saying you were retired, or semi-retired or whatever, and playing recreationally, making a little money to supplement your retirement?. THAT is a great story and a great application of card counting.

You can be mad at me Moses, but I am not the bad guy here. I am not the guy that claimed things that couldn't be.

For the umpteenth time. Show me where I ever stated an amount or claimed to be a pro. Yes, blackjack paid some bills and reminded me of being on scholarship in college.

Bursting on the scene 10 years ago? That's comical. I had options and Reno seemed like the best one. Lots of sports and easy access to the airport. I thought I'd be traveling more for officiating. Ended up singing with a group for awhile. Didn't see that one coming. Couldn't do the 5am's anymore. My memory retention for numbers is exceptional. So blackjack was an easy way to make some extra money. I never used all the perks.

I would rather make $50k in 5 years and still be playing than $20k in 3 months and be banned everywhere. That is the direction it was heading before Norm. Time was a commodity in the beginning. As life moved forward there were other things I wanted to do than sit at a blackjack table. Just didn't have anyone to do it with because my friends were all still working.

Yes you are the bad guy. You can't just post. You think you have to run the show. Call me out? Lie about me? Stick your nose in my biz? Big mistake. At least 3 others will vouch to that. Except for the viagra/vodka guy.

Moses, this was when you began posting at Norms forum and Zenzone. ZenZone is gone, so I can't pull the quotes, and I recently briefly looked at Norm's forum but couldn't find them. Many, many posts at Norms forum have been deleted, especially people like you and I.

But you know damn right well you presented yourself as a professional BJ player and sports bettor, playing Reno.

Numbers? I don't remember you giving specific numbers but if someone says they are a professional, it doesn't jive with earning 10k a year.

In my first 3 years I earned 10k a year, starting with a 4k BR and I do say I have supported myself solely from blackjack and advantage play including that time, but I have always been a little uncomfortable including those first 3 years as my time as a a professional player. I think that time....professional player status started my last year or so in AC and when I moved to Vegas. I am not going to put a number on it, but if you aren't earning a decent living, 40, 50k minimum or more, you are not really a professional player. That is just my opinion.

But all I challenged is that a player could earn that kind of money playing Reno. Check with ANY real professional level, blackjack player. Reno will just not allow a player to play the amounts and put in the time necessary to earn that kind of money. THAT is NOT an opinion, that is fact.

By the way, had some player showed up on the forums claiming to be a professional player, playing Laughlin, or Wendover or any other smaller, sweaty location, I would have challenged just the same. Even Atlantic City. I was "tolerated" in AC while I played red chip, low level building my BR. Once I began playing green to black and making decent money I got a year to 18 months and was shown the door. I can't speak to AC today, but I understand it has only gotten worse.

Smaller locations just aren't going to allow it. You have to have a larger rotation like Vegas or you have to travel a lot to create a larger rotation from multiple ,locations.

$40k or $50k is "earning a decent living"? Only in kew's world.

I too have seen numerous times where kew is the only one to claim Tater said that he plays bj as a professional. But when you call kew on that claim and challenge him to prove it, what does he scramble to do? Yup....say "but gee Tater, I can't post where it's from because the forums closed down"!

Hold him close to the fire and he melts down like cheap butter.

KJ writes: THAT is what I called out and now you have admitted it.

Tater says; Wrong. You call me out from Zen Zone. You can't stand it when someone is doing something different than you.

You don't think I can do a column count or retain percentages as the cards are dealt? Bring it on fool. HiLo would be suicide in a tightly watched single deck game. Why?

Suppose I'm down $1000. The pit views it as their $1000. Now I make it back to even. But the pit views it as I gained $1000. There is your fucking math.

So, in order to survive, you can't get down in the first place. Therefore, you play the advantages and don't sweat the thresholds. In order to survive variance you need large bets swings. They simply don't allow it frequently. So the obvious choice is to minimize variance...and you can't do that playing thresholds.

You do it by maximizing strong deck compositions.

Think about it Rob. Why would I bite the hand that feeds me? I used to cringe whenever I read someone bragging about how much they make in blackjack and how stupid the pit guys are.

Guaranteed if I was making $100k a year playing 20 hours of blackjack a week, maybe 9 months out of a year like KJ claims. I wouldn't say a thing to anybody. Not even my mother.

It's called "discipline" which is what someone absolutely needs to play successfully and professionally. I used it to my advantage during my 5-1/2 years of putting down the double up glitch play, and followed thru with keeping my mouth shut about it for the 10-year period after the LV guy stupidly got caught using it. And this type of discipline is something the little man with the big mouth 100% does NOT possess. In fact, he doesn't even have the ability to do what he says he will do. He's nothing but a complete failure from A to Z.

"Doing the math." Suppose a session win is $1,000. A session loss is $1,000. Winning 60% is doable. Run the Sessions in CV Data.

So, for math purposes, you play 20 sessions a week. That is 12 wins and 8 losses. That's $4k a week. Or $200k a year if you play 50 weeks annually. That is based on Sims. A column count or percentage count will do far better.

This is very doable in a blackchip game. Problem is getting in 20 sessions a week in straight up play. More like 10 a month.
Green chip is very difficult these days. Asking to have table limits raised instantly puts a target on your back.

So maybe KJ did me a favor by ratting me out. Still, it pisses me off.

Ridiculous thing to say. MOST AP's are doing things different than I. Many things I can't even grasp. BUT THEIR MATH WORKS!

It is only when the math doesn't work that I call them someone out and then ONLY if they repeat these claims numerous times and it appears to me to be harmful to others who may buy that load of crap.

I am not here to define what a decent living is. And it is different depending on where a person is and cost of living there. Prior to quitting my retail job to pursue blackjack, I was 20 years old making I forget, $10, $11 an hour. What is that 20k a year with taxes eating up a third of that. I honestly thought my playing blackjack would be 40-50k a year and that would have been fine. Turns out it has been double that.

40k, 50k? for most people in their 20's and 30's is a decent living I think. If you live in New York City or SF, maybe not, but most people, most places. Everytime this discussion comes up I look up the average salary for an American and it is in the 40k range.

I am not saying that is good money, but a person can live a decent life, pay rent, pay all their bills on that in most places.

Rob wants to tell us he made much more than that as a James Bond spy. Whatever. That is not what we are talking about.

STFU about this ratting you out! That is BS and YOU KNOW IT!

Everything else in this post is nonsense. THAT is not the way the math works. Blackjack card counting returns about a 1% advantage at best now. Less than 1% for a player playing all. A player cannot win 60% of sessions playing with a 1% advantage. You would need a much larger advantage to achieve that. You are getting into the same territory as T3's claims, and he now even admits that is not possible.

Furthermore, anyone mentioning 40 hours a week, 50 weeks a year as to card counting automatically doesn't understand how card counting works.

And people that talk about and quote sims, are almost always not really playing. they are playing on their computer, not in real life.

Not telling you THAT kew. I'm telling you that $50k is an embarrassing number to claim is "decent living money" these days except for teenagers.. Even in my day it was considered borderline at best. You have low standards. What else is new for an uneducated, unproductive internet forum bullshitter like you? You'd know a helluva lot more about real life if you weren't so hopelessly addicted to posting your concocted life on internet gaming forums.

Dude, that is NOT really what this discussion is about, although....you might want to tell Moses/tater that. Moses/tater earned 100k over 10 years. (not average....OVER)

I suppose if you considered the time I actually played over 10 years it would be what the average player does in a year.

KJ I went back and read all the shit you spewed about me at bjinfo.

You do alot of talking and lying. Why don't you back it up? JUST ONCE. No I'm like going to kick your weak ass. I might give a 6th grader 20 bucks and watch them do it for shits and grins.

Of course winning 60% is doable. Now we are back to you disputing SCORE like you tried with Don S. And failed miserably. Do you know anything about math?

Look Rob, I have made 1.6 million from advantage play. Putting aside my early years in AC, when I was learning and building my BR, in my 12 full years in LV I have made almost exactly 1.4 million dollars from advantage play, 1.15 of that from blackjack. I know you are dying to tell me that is not a decent living, but you are full of crap and you know it. AND I live in Las Vegas where the cost of living is low compared to most places.

Kobe Bryant, Pete Maravich, and Larry Bird spent tons of time in the gym when no one was watching.

Of course, I practiced on my computer. This is why the game was so effortless for me.

Unlike KJ, I don't worry about worry about what others are doing. Starting fights he has no intention of finishing. Again, this begs the question. When does he have the time to play? Let alone with peace of mind? Every little thing consumes a piece of his mind.

$100k/year is a decent living for a single person with no dependents, but in most places today, just barely. However, you're making even THAT up because you so desperately need to impress the lower level people on these forums. Which, of course, is why you concoct so many things up about yourself....never offering any proof of anything other than "you HAVE to believe me because I'm an AP!".

And then there's the loss of the home you were in when sugar daddy's aids pushed him into eating dirt. Your clan together couldn't afford the place! And you tell SO MANY LIES about yourself to compensate for that that it's not even funny anymore.

You live like a slug compared to Tater and myself, which irks you no end. He wins in Reno which you hate, and I both won with a -ev VP strategy and made a bunch of cash playing the DU bug.

Get over it. What other people say they do is not up for debate with a proven liar such as yourself. If you weren't looked at as such a joke everywhere, your credibility wouldn't be in the toilet.

I'm not seeing it. For one thing you are far too emotional. Maybe you have a disconnect when it comes to money. You lose $11k in a weekend and $29k in week without flinching. Yet you lose your mind over Mdawg, Rob, T3, Norm, Shack, and me to name a few.

    You're a weird dude.
