Let me address this comment while I am at it. Who knows, maybe your dumb ass can learn something.

Blackjack card counting as I have said many times is about variance. There is no getting around that. Now there is something called the 'Law of Large numbers'. It is related to standard deviations and Don Schlesinger's work on N0. (that is N-zero). Now the math guys have formula for this and it gets complicated for a player that plays games with different rules, decks, bets spreads. But a very accepted number is 50,000 rounds for the law of Large Numbers. What that means is a player that plays 50,000 rounds at an advantage, really should not have a losing year. Doesn't mean he can't but it becomes unlikely.

So in my career, I have had 4 different 6 month periods that I was in the red for that period. That is 35,000 to 40,000 for me. So I have come up fairly close to that 50,000 number, but never played 50,000 rounds and been in the red for that time. Doesn't mean it is not possible, but pretty unlikely.

Now in all the players I talk to and network with, many that played for many years, two have had losing years or in the red for the entire year. Now it turns out that one of those players it has been revealed by him, that he was a losing degenerate type gambler (roulette, craps, horseracing) before he took up card counting later in life. So I have to question if his losing year may not have been due to his degenerate gambling tendencies, maybe chasing losses, that type of thing. So I take that one with a grain of salt.

So ONE single player I know of had a losing year for the whole year. This goes to my point, of possible but unlikely for a player playing a sound game that gets in any reasonable amount of play like 50,000+ rounds.

I am prepared both financially and mentally to handle an entire year ending in the red, but I don't expect it will happen. At my amount (volume) of play, 70,000+ rounds most years at least until recent covid developments, a down year, meaning still in the black but far below expectation is much more likely. And in fact I have had two such years like that in my 12 in Las Vegas, the most recent 2020. That is probably as close as I will come to an entire losing year.

While I find your stuff interesting to read, you've never said anything interesting except for some story you told me in private. I believed it but now I wonder if I wasn't just fed bullshit. At the time I thought you were a legitimate person and have taken things from that convo as true. I now believe this was a mistake.
