I think what you have going on here with Blackhole is some resentment. Not to be confused with jealousy. resentment in that some people are able to make a living, even if it is much less than he made. The same kind of resentment a Kennedy would feel towards some delivery driver who wins the lottery for 800 million.

Some kind of mindset that the AP didn't earn it or isn't entitled to his winning, when the fact is AP's earn every dollar. We work hard and accept risk and variance that others don't deal with.

If you want to delve a little deeper into his brain, consider when, after years of discussing how he is gay, he suddenly declared that he had been feeding steady misinformation to everyone about who and what he is, and then just a few days later when he realized that the fallout was making him look less than credible, he retracted all that.

Similar to how he could never explain why lying about there being a lawsuit would somehow protect his privacy, he also never explained how pretending that he was gay would further his anonymity. Just not well thought out lies.

1) He made up complete bullshit (such as the police report on Moses dropping by his condo, the player records being dropped off at his place on Halloween, the record of the lawsuit, the changing of the title on a condo, the programmer who checked out his shuffling machine in 15 minutes, oiling his surfboard) to try to back up his claims

2) He used multiple handles and sock puppets on various forums including especially WOV to try to get his point across

3) He tried to change his persona more than once, going so far as to claim that he was not even gay and had been lying about that all these years

As far as lying, he's gone on record many times about how he would never do that:

The picture I get, is of someone so lost in trying to be something he is not, that he's lost sight of who he is, and what his values are. No, it was not. It means I was considered established as one of the half dozen or so best at what I do. Unbeknownst to me, he had conversations with people who had known me and worked with me for years. Evidently, I passed muster.

I was warned after his people contacted me -- LOL, warned by more than one -- to make sure that I was adequately compensated. Mr. Walters is not considered free and easy with the compensation, I suppose.

The thing that annoys me is when people say I'm claiming unverified things. Almost everything I post has been verified. I was monitored by formal monitors who published results, including multi-year results, annually. I was in a publicly accessible competition, The Wise Guys, where I made two football plays every blessed week for 30 years. Those plays were on newsstands and also on the internet...for 30 friggin' years plus. Other plays were in that publication on national newsstands every week for a decade. I was monitored on TV by a third party (cable in Buffalo, admittedly, but that still counts as TV).

How is any of that "not verified?"

 

I've never had questions about your claims, Redietz, I simply rarely comment because I don't bet sports.

Or call PlayBook and ask to speak with Marc Lawrence Sr. or Marc Lawrence Jr. and tell them you think Bob Dietz is lying about having worked with Billy Walters in 2002. Ask the two of them if Dietz worked for Walters in 2002. But don't be shy. Ask them if either ever heard Bob Dietz lie about anything regarding sports betting and what he has personally done or hasn't done. Make it an easy question. Ask them if they personally know Bob Dietz to have lied about anything.

The reason I suggest the Lawrences is that I suspect they are some of the people who recommended me to Mr. Walters, although I do not have confirmation of that.

Since they have been in the business for 40 years and publish the biggest selling football combo magazine in the country, they may know a thing or two. Better yet, email them. And email Mr. Walters.

I could only fantasize what life could be like being one of the blessed few that know the secret PIN # that would give me access to free money from casino slot machines.
