I don't have any children, and WW III is okay with me, so I was never quite as appalled at Trump as most. Plus I really did order a "Grab 'Em By The Pussy" hoodie. But, in the grand scheme of things, some alien race will probably decide to let humans survive a few more years because Trump didn't get his hands on the button. So that's a good thing.

I think Clinton is a one-term pony (her health), so we can look forward to more of the same in four years.

That one is so very simple. We make it so very good to be a "loser" that we stop anyone from giving them any criticism when they love the good life that they get for free. You see, it's basic Philosophy 101 going on here. Better off is the man that is contented in his poverty than the prosperous man is in his longing for more. In a sense, we owe the needy our respect because we need to care for them as an act of altruism. The poor are irrelevant. We will always have the poor. But we need to give back to ourselves so we redistribute wealth in order to feel good. It feels good to steal from the successful achievers in life and it feels good to brag about giving some people that trip free life they they are so contented with. The bonus in all this is the power one gets from pitting one group against another. We get that satisfaction of creating crisis and then acting like we have the solution. So we steel and we con people because deep inside we hate ourselves and the idiots that let us do this to them. They deserve our disrespect for letting us play them in the first place. We are the smart ones.
