That was funny. So a chronic case of indigestion and the fallacy of confirmation bias and we get "Trump is connected." The guilt by association stuff is great if you plan to ride down the guy that smashed your plans for a Hillary Presidency. Keep up the complaint department's hit parade. You are doing yeoman's work.

When the Mexi-Can'ts first got here, speed was pathetic. They were slower than dog shit freezing in the sun on a glacier. I watched a friend get hired by saying "we aren't very good but we're slow." I guess he just had "white advantage." The general public get's their idea of speed from Bob Vila. They actually deserve the crap that they buy. I won't and have not had a paying customer, building a custom turn key home, in the past twenty five years. If you want a house of mine you can buy it when it's done and hire a fuckhead to rape it for you after you clear Title. America deserves the shit it thinks is OK. I moved on to things like world class recording schools and exotic homes that only millionaires can afford. Imagine a front door costing $35,000 for just a three panel 6' 8" with stained glass lights. And that's knowing the door manufacturer.

It cracks me up every time I see a Mexican contractor buying materials for their projects at the Home Depot. I doubt if quality will ever return to the demands of the consumer.

Hi, KJ. I don't think the election was so much an endorsement of Trump as it was a repudiation of policies that have taken the working class down the drain. As for the lawsuits against Trump I think MrV could tell you that lawyers love to go after deep pockets and will use any excuse to do so. As for lawsuits that Trump filed against contractors and sub-contractors. The other night in his monologue on SNL Dave Chappelle said that he stays in Trump hotels because of the quality. How do you build a quality hotel if you let the contractors and sub-contractors get away with shoddy work?

If you watched much of the Apprentice and read Trump's book 'The Art of the Deal," then his mentality on hiring would have come through for you. At least it did for me being a professional builder. I could read the signs of why quality mattered to him.

Back in the early and mid nineties a new trend swept across California. Lawyers discovered the ten year rule on craftsmanship in the liability clauses of the insurance protections for the prime contractor. So customers of big building outfits found a way to remodel their rental properties by suing the contractors that built them. They had a ten year window to get insurance companies to pay for upgrades to their apartments and condominiums under these liability insurance rules.

So "Construction Defect Forensic Investigation: experts at determining the nature of construction defects, via inspection, destructive & non-destructive testing," became the new sport and pass-time. Just imagine how happy these apartment owners were when they had Mexicans rape the jobs in the first place. They would take the sheetrock off the walls to see if a single nail was missing in the row over the stud behind it. And if it was, the insurance company was held responsible for fixing it all, including labor, materials, and punitive damages on top of all that. There is a price for using fuckheads. They never got me though. I was done with apartments by 1985. Still, if you want to fuck over your contractor you can get a remodel and some extra cash if you throw the dice. I can find shitty workmanship all over your house. So an expert for your lawyer can do a forensic assessment to tell you if you have a case too. Go for it. This is my revenge for letting the wetbacks in.

All joking aside. I have worked with the SDNY, US Attorney's Office, mainly the 'OIG' investigators and case agents, and I will tell you something. They are 100% spot on, powerful, relentless, every conceivable and imaginable resource without limitations at their beck and call. Those investigators are making the case and not trying to get info to present for prosecution such as what the FBI, DEA, ATF, etc., agents do. Their bosses are the actual US Attorney's that bring the cases. They will do what is right and their track record is impressive compared to any other US District. Even Wash D.C. They do not lose cases. As well, Rudy Giuliani has mentioned it and had that look in his eyes of 'Justice' in a couple of interviews with his side mouth snicker, rest assured---she and her cronies will be where Martha Stewart was and if not Danbury, perhaps Waseca, Minnesota or Tallahassee, Florida. If she does somehow, with a miracle, skate by without criminal charges, she will be the recipient of volumes of civil actions that will be unprecedented in content. For those of you whom don't know about Rudy and the US Attorney's Office and his other similar past--read up on it and then maybe you will get the gist of what is going to happen.

Yes it can be done, see the attached easy to read article and that article explains both sides of it.

However, the magical and key note would be--by accepting the pardon--it means she says "I DID IT ALL and I LIED.

A slew of books will certainly be printed by everyone having anything to do with it all!

Something will happen, and you can bet that the major publishers like McGraw Hill, Doubleday, etc., are all praying for a prosecution or even a pardon would suffice for $$$$ Payday on their behalf.

And on the note of the possibility of a pardon by Obama, wouldn't that like be the very last straw in saying, 'we fucked up and we were crooked and the lefties were criminals', I didn't say anything before because of the party--but fuck you all, I can still pardon and that is what I am choosing to do before I go out. But, I just wanted to add, oh yeah--'the Republicans are really the criminals, thanks for the last 8 years'.

Look at the people Protesting NOW....not before the election. Fuck, if they wanted to warn mankind of pending doom....why the fuck did they wait.
How weak to all of a sudden have an opinion NOW. Why didnt they get off their ass BEFORE the election.

Look at coaches and athletes complaining NOW. But they were so timid BEFORE the election. They didnt want to warn america of impending "doom".
Greg Popavich, Steve kerr, various players all kept quiet BEFORE THE ELECTION.

now they are so so opinionated

Did the people who anonymously bashed trump over the last 2 months on this thread go out and protest, and go on the record that they felt Trump would be a disaster BEFORE the election?

Its amazing to hear people talk about how america is now fucked.....but where were the public protests BEFORE. Where were the riots BEFORE.

Its like seeing kids playing with matches...and you dont say anything and walk away. Then the building burns down, and you all of a sudden need to comment...."hey kids ....you shouldnt have played with matches". Well the community would say to you.....FUCK YOU....WHO NEEDS YOUR OPINION NOW.

The same exact thing as the gay retard liberals when they suck those cocks and get those sperm loads, hey its a free country we can do what we want, no one needs your opinion, we even made gay marriage legal until the republicans continually fuck it up. Remember LGBT rules, let's everyone say it at one time--burp--sorry that was just a load of sperm in my stomach from anther fellow gay liberaltard.

The gay sperm sucking libertards should have put one of their Senators or Governors with a clean record up on their ticket, they undoubtedly would have done better. And made it all about LGBT and restroom of choice, oh yeah, and give the illegals more benefits and also pump up the juice to the unemployed and underemployed. One more thing--take care of the overworked moms that their thug assed husbands walked out and left them with the same thing they had all their life, nothing.

So 10 days since the election here are a few of my thoughts, mostly as to how it will effect me personally, but also my biggest concern of how it could effect humanity.

That "effect humanity" is my biggest fear. Although I voted for Trump in the primary season, as the campaign went on, I decided he was nuts. Mentally unstable and unqualified to be president. I am afraid this thin-skinned man, might actually launch a nuclear strike just because he doesn't like what someone said about his looks, hands or hair.

Now I have heard some suggest that 1.) most of his rhetoric was nothing more than an act and shouldn't e taken seriously. (He is basically an actor). 2.) that he will change his behavior as president. Trump said this numerous times on the campaign trail, that he could become more presidential (but he never really did or could not sustain it). I hope like hell that #1 is true because I don't believe #2 is possible. 70 year old people do not change their behavior. They are set in their ways. Hell I live with a 55 year old that is very resistant to cange. That is just how old folks are. (that should ignite some comments...:p).

Now moving away from the fate of humanity to how a Trump presidency will effect me personally. I don't think a whole lot. What effect there will be will be less an effect of Trump and more an effect of a republican controlled "everything", should they make changes. If Trump/republicans hold true to what they are suppose to be about...smaller government and less taxes, I could very well benefit. :) But the last republican president was just as much a spender as the democrats, leading me to believe there isn't that much difference anymore.

One thing that does concern me (which I previously mentioned), is that I believe the with republicans in control of everything they will attempt to private and gut medicare and social security. Personally, although I pay into SS, I never have expected or counted on that it would be there for me, when the time came. But my partner is currently receiving social security and I believe his benefits will be cut or end completely under republican control. That is about 13K a year, and will not effect our standard of living, or his financial security one iota. Whether he realizes it or not, his financial future is secure.;) It will only effect him in that he will loss benefits that he paid into and is entitled to and he will feel less like he is contributing to the household/partnership.

So, I (and my partner) will survive a Trump presidency unless my worst fear (end of world) comes true.
