My comments about beached whale is not fueled by hate....its fueled by a sense of right and wrong.

 

Not long ago I said someone needs to let ZenKing know the hazard of driving across country with a large sum of cash (asset seizure by cop). Yet while some have made veiled jokes about it, no one has warned him. That is disgusting.

I think you mentioned Oklahoma. I just pulled up a color coded USA map of the worst civil forfeiture states. Very poor marks go to Arizona, Texas and Kansas as well. I'm not sure if ZenKinG is back east but he should investigate this.

By the way, the best marks go to New Mexico with Montana close behind.

 

Zero hate here...for anyone. How can you hate words on a forum? As I said in another post, that would say more about me than the person causing the hate. It's simple. If something caused that emotion in me, I would avoid it as best I could. I certainly wouldn't let it consume me.

Beached Whale amuses me....her air of superiority, her exaggerated sense of importance, her actually thinking she matters, her stupid made up stories from yesteryear, her perversions that bubble just beneath the surface and her desperate need to belong. Somewhere...anywhere.

I call her Beached Whale, not because she's fat, but because she has had the moniker for so long and it's easier for me. Sure, I could call her Barbara, Babs or even Ms W. Nah...Beached Whale it is. Also, be a better person that to speculate about my "family reunion" that you know nothing about. If you want to know, just ask. I am pretty open about most things in my life and have no problem sharing details with anyone who is interested.

Since you brought it up, it went about as I expected. First of all my invitation to my 'stepfather' to spend Christmas was not about me. I want no relationship with the man. He is not my father, so no, I did not want him to call me son. My father died when I was a little boy. I miss him dearly and miss that I didn't have the opportunity to know him better and spend more time with him.

My invitation to my stepfather, was an attempt to repair a relationship between my brother and HIS father, so that he might not look back some day after his father is gone with regret. As for how it went: They were friendly and spoke to each other during the visit. Whether that will carry over to anything....I don't know. I did all I could. I lead the horses to water....I can not make either of them drink.

So he speculated why a person would resort to such vulgar imagery. Why a sane person would result to wishing death to other peoples family members over something they read by an anonymous person on a gambling message board.

Normal well balanced people dont behave in the manner you do...and hence he speculated on the reason why. You have alot of pent up anger and hatred during this holiday season. And the fact that this anger and hatred came out during this time of year can lead one to suspect that things didnt go well for you this year. Maybe its not your stepdad. Maybe you just didnt get what you asked santa for this year.

Its all speculation. But it is worthwhile speculation in that this is the "merriest" time of year....people are filled with goodwill....and you are in another place emotionally. Rather than goodwill..you are filled with hatred.

sometimes speculation is wrong and sometimes its on target......but to scold someone about not making a "problem" via speculation is exhibiting your usual hypocrisy....as you speculate about me all the time.

 

Freddy, don't be a hypocrite. When you join others in referring to someone using a derogatory name, intended to hurt...that IS hate. When you make a "batteries" joke, in reference to a person being lonely and thus unable to find a mate in life so they need a 'battery operated' partner...That IS hate.

You can criticize a person's actions. It is more than fair to say that BBB is a horrible moderator, who abuses her power and seems to be on some kind of power trip with this position that she isn't even paid to do. You can say that her as a moderator is a big negative to that site. But all the other stuff IS hate.

I really had no issues with BBB. She treated me pretty well, pretty fairly while I was a member of WoV. Although, she had no reason to NOT treat me fairly, as I was an upstanding member of that site (if I may say so). I was only there to contribute positively, and rarely got involved in the nonsense. My one suspension in 4 years was for referring to Evenbob as a jackass. I don't even see how that's a suspend-able offense. EB, who I actually like and communicated with privately, PMed me afterwards and said that I should have said he acted "like a jackass" and would have avoided suspension. But I'm getting off track here.

My point is that while I had no issues with BBB while a member, looking from the outside (while here), it is pretty plain to see that she is a big problem on that site, a big negative...with her over-moderating and abuse of moderating. I have been critical of that. But all the other stuff is just so juvenile. And when you say something intended to hurt someone...it is indeed hate.

And while I have been very critical of Shackleford, both in handling of my situation and things that I have seen and have been brought to my attention since I have been here, I have tried to keep that criticism to his actions and not get personal. I've tried....but at times slipped up. But I don't have hate for Shackleford. I sent him a Christmas card sincerely wishing him and his family a happy holiday season. And that is NOT because I am hoping to go back to WOV. That is not happening. I did it because I wanted to enclose a little note acknowledging that at times my "criticism" may have just "edged over the line. lol. I mean everything I have said on this site is in response to his initial huge mistake, but that doesn't give me the right to join the juvenile brigade.

Now my comment to Larry? Sure that can be interpreted as hateful. Hate is a strong word. But it was meant to be hurtful. I am sick and tired of a guy who's sole intent is to be argumentative and combative and ruin the site for everyone else...just because he is a miserable son of a bitch!

Of course I don't hate her.... I like Barbra. I know her in RL(and not just as a simple acquaintance). She isn't just sitting behind the computer all day modding like everyone thinks. She is actually a very helpful trustworthy nice, kind person. Its actually amazing how much stuff she gets done and does. I and fairly certain she has accomplished more, does more and has more than some of the people constantly going after her.

I get that some people don't like her as a moderator and people think she makes lots of mistakes. Big fucking deal, who doesn't mistakes? People say she is biased.... who isn't somewhat biased? She's generally a positive person(sometimes too sappy/positive for my personal taste). No matter what she does on that forum she is going to be criticized for multiple reasons, including just for being a female. I have to say she has some fairly thick skin, most females would have quit by now given the BS she has had to endure.

It's one thing when people take issue with her moderating decisions and give criticism, but the levels people here have taken it to is just sickening and disturbing. Some of the people attacking her seem to have some serious mental issues and obsessed stalking tendencies.

I guess its easy to anonymously sit behind an alias online, say horrible over the top things and talk shit about someone you don't really know.

I might be an ass and criticize sometimes, but my god, some people are just brutal vindictive SOB's.

Whatever the case, if by some miracle he is for real.... he's a hot head conspiracy theorist and he's bad for card counters, especially if he is running around invoking gaming laws at the table while counting. How fucking dumb is that?
