Cool... Basically, this is a new combination of money management I just want to learn more about. There is a certain name for it, and it goes something like this:

If you win... stay at the same size.
    If you lose... double up.

Has anyone heard of this? I think it is a negative progression because you increase the size of wagers if you buck up against the baccarat shoe with some losses. I have also heard that this is why casinos will typically put a limit on the maximum bet size, but I am not sure. I learned it from these two baccarat gurus tonight:

They told me that in order to really learn this new MM style I have to go on the pro message boarding circuit and speak with various colleagues to learn the risk and reward and other features that are cool. Baccarat gurus may also like to be called baccarat wizards or baccarat pros. Now sometimes general baccarat players like to be addressed by the general call sign bruh.

People are so naive and silly. This is martingale, the best way you can lose whatever you have for just a greed to earn 1 unit somehow. I wonder if such things are still taught to newbies.

Not with charting and doing a Hit & Run. Won't hurt the casinos but can make long term profits.

Buddy, I am a researcher for last 11 years and can assure you that martingale doesn't work to win in any form. If you play 5-10 spins in a go with a 10 steps martingale, you may be lucky for months to not lose your pants but not forever. You might be the unluckiest to lose all in the day 1. Trigger based play appear safe to people but in only case it is comparatively safer is to bet against the virtual limits. Even that I do not advise with a marty. Martingale is the confirm way to win the least and lose the max.

How can you control your game in baccarat?
Same bet size or flexible bet size?
    Which one?

Flat bet can't win any game except with a proven edge. Progression is a double edged sword whose wrong use can kill the weilder too. A toughtful progression meant for long term and which can sustain the worst and win thereafter in average number of hits is the key to win baccarat or any game of chance.

Martingale is the most powerful MM if you appropriately and sparingly. I've used an 8 and 9 step for 4 months and actually had 4 busts but still made a profit of $5k mostly playing $5 and sometimes $10 hands.

Don't you think it is better to pick and choose your desired trigger for Marty?

    Jimske ,

By your previous post you impressed me to be a reasonable good conservative Baccarat player .

However others have their own approach to the game as they see fit .

I apologize since I misspoke. What I meant to convey in response to your comment is why should the ability to sit out preclude the use of Marty as you seem to suggest.
