it must have a low cut point where it dumps a hot number and waits to see if it comes back to life. It's still guessing.

Yes. But an educated guess. And you may still have money rolling on that pony.

It's amazing how many people keep trying to defeat what I'm saying by posting facts that completely back up what I'm doing and saying.
    It boggles the mind.
You are completely right - it's random. Random is why this works.
Instead of spending your time thinking why this doesn't work based on your facts - you should spend that same energy finding ways that it DOES work - based on your facts. Imagine that.

I've had this argument 500 times before.

Myself.....the 13 that has hit 4 times in the last 25 spins, I'm betting on. The 36 that has not hit in the last 250 spins, I'm not betting on. I know I know I know, it doesn't matter.

I don't have any problem with it. I just decided to use the activity of 12 different sets of dozens from four different groupings. I discovered that the same kind of hot and cold trends occur there with great volatility. An other way of saying it might be that I like the action. It's more alive. Checking for hot numbers is like watching a glacier move.

You know what it is like when you see a perfect, long lasting pattern happen? You can destroy the casino. A huge crowd forms to watch the win streak. Thousands of dollars changes hands. It's far different than the same old grind.

    Turbo,

Saying that random is why it works is a bit of an oxymoron. If it's random, then the math tells us that the casino has the edge and you can not win in the long run.

A very appropriate post. Trying to beat random is very muck like banging your head against the wall.

You can't beat random unless you are a drummer. When it comes to Roulette you must beat what a few people refer to as non-random. But trying to beat it without looking, and succeeding, has never been validated.

I was being sarcastic about this same old argument. But I guess (hope) you were too. You know which camp Im in and you keep repeating yourself. Its not very constructive and we know your opinion. Lets not start from the beginning again unless something new is being offered to the table.

It would make more sense if people would build on the knowledge, facts and history of the game/wheel rather than on gambler's fallacy.

We routinely put system players into checkmate only to have them say, "Nuh uh, I've got a secret that will get me out of it." Then begins the absurd game of the "secret squirrel."

Turbo's description of a hot number system could lower the house edge on a live wheel, but it rapidly falls apart on a random wheel for obvious reasons.

Bumpin up an older post here. I like to read over some of the previous stuff when I've actually time to digest things.
Bobby could you share with me your original frequency distribution graph for 25K spins? Either here or at my mail on profile page.
I get where you're coming from in terms of the repeat happening sooner more frequently well within the 50% range and I think theres a place for that as a separate method.
