There are plenty of casinos where we live (primary residence), much nicer than the ones the addict alcoholic frequents in Oregon. But I never play in southern Cal, because I have too many other things to do.

As far as "regional casinos are as good as Vegas" this is spoken by someone who plays very small, could never experience any sort of red carpet treatment in Vegas, and is content with low end play and low end comps. Vegas is about the experience. If your life experience is sitting at home all day getting blazed, why go anywhere, seems to be his life maxim?

MrV's friends (maybe remove the plural s, most likely he barely has even one friend seeing as how much of an acerbic a-hole he may be):
What are you going to do today.

    MrV pauses, says nothing.

MrV's friend: Stay home all day, get blazed?

Yeah, as if I would ever want to live in southern California.

I spent a few weeks in both Marina del Rey and Huntington Beach as a young man, visiting family who lived there, and quickly realized "this ain't for me."

I grew up near NYC and did not want more "big city" life: that's why Portland attracted me.

    Here's how it went down...

On the same four month road trip that culminated with me staying with kin in so Cal, I spent some time in Albuquerque with a buddy from college; he didn't attend the school as a student, he was a long-haired townie who enjoyed hanging out with students, talking philosophy.

He got me into zen, but I digress...

In New Mexico he introduced me to a young lady, and we hit it off and went rafting and camping out past Taos; she was from Oregon and told me what it was like in Oregon: I was enthralled by the word picture she painted, and come to find out she was right, it really was a cool place to be as I soon found out.

Portland the city has in many ways gone down hill, but the rest of the state, including the suburbs, are still fine.

You asked what I am going to do today: what, you need ideas on how to fill up your fraudulent, empty life?

    Go fuck yourself little man.

V, there's very little to nothing you can say that'll get anyone excited about the boring life you have....unless there's any forum members posting from hospital rooms or jail.

Your best results lie with back-and-forths with Tasha. She thinks you're something. :)

Thanks for the feedback Rob, I'll file it in the circular file, same as always.

My life is pretty regular, conventional, and predictable, which is exactly how I like it.

Old Chinese curse; "May you live in interesting times."

I confess I cannot compete with guys like you and douchedawg: I guess I just can't get excited the way you birds do about making up fantasy tales to post on these boards, all in effort of getting people to think you're cool.

    Fuck that noise.

I could give a rat's ass whether you or anyone thinks I am cool, or exciting...that ain't what I post for.

Here's the opening moment leading up to your claimed big $1.5M VP score, LOL...

With some people you have to read between the lines to figure out what is going on. But not here, because
and it allll comes right out quite plainly in everything the addict alcoholic posts.

I think much more highly about myself than I do about you, and for purposes of these boards that's all that matters.

You can blather away playing armchair psychologist, very entertaining.

So what is your reason for posting? You're not the least bit interesting, almost all of your posts are in irritated response over what somebody else puts up, you're always on the weak side of the discussions, you HATE that there's one or two braggers on forums who have won large amounts of money gambling (which is very typical of losers BTW), and you spend as much time as kew trying to convince others that you have some sort of good life--which neither of you do based on your residences.

Now, if the aforementioned doesn't bother you, there will be no reply. But if you continue to get rattled by the truth, you'll once again chip in with another incompetent Oregonian-like reply.

Have you stopped beating your wife?

    Yes, or no?

Sorry Rob, I won't fall for that rhetorical trap.

I post for one reason only: my personal amusement.

V, please stop trying to be involved and to fit in. You do it no matter where or what the thread. It's really a bit embarrassing, and is simply a result of being bored at home.

What I'm trying to figure is how mickey got redietz so hot under the collar. And he IS hot.

From what I can put together, red is claiming mickey--who paid into SS and Medicare--is somehow "sucking off the Govt teat" when he gets a monthly SS payment, pays even more for Medicare coverage, and gets healthcare.

Huh? If he believes that then he believes ALL seniors, including myself and my wife, are "sucking" also, but have no right to. In fact, he's saying anyone any age who pays health insurance premiums, are sucking off their providers!

At first I thought I couldn't be reading his posts right. But after realizing his weird positions were straight outta Mars, it all began to come together.....

There hasn't been a poster in the history of gambling forums, able to go toe to toe with Rob the legend. V is holding his own and is keeping things interesting. He's not getting pulverized like the other two main targets are.

While V posts for his "personal amusement" since he's no longer able to travel, and hasn't since years ago apparently (yes, stoners and addicts are well known for their inabilities in their declining years)....I have this stunning bit of advice for Comrade Red:

YOU NEED TO HAVE A TALK WITH DRUFF AND SCOLD HIM FOR BEING ONE OF THOSE "EASILY SPOOKED" NFL BETTORS WHO CONSTANTLY THINKS BETTING UNDERS ALL THE TIME MAKES HIM AN IMPRESSIVE PROBLEM GAMBLER ONLINE. That---along with his penchant for frequently calling out games for being "traps" in kew-esque plagiarization as a way of trying to appear relevant--will never liberate him from being a captive liberal stuck in California, without a family of his own.

Sitting in chairs all day gambling just isn't healthy. He can tell you why.

Wait a minute are you calling Druff a liberal ? Haha that's funny Rob, he might live in the communist utopia of California, but he's far from being a lefty. Also he has a 12 year old son with a broad he's been with for 15 years.

He's actually a CINO: Conservative In Name Only. He's lived in Commie California because he wants to be perceived as "elite"....just like every other nutjob who lives there. And has he ever had a job? Hint: it ain't gambling.

Then there's this "son" and woman he sponges off of. That's a family? More like a roommate to share expenses with. Ask him why she doesn't marry him.

Alan couldn't keep a wife no matter how many, and I truly believe it was always due to him having a long-time bad gambling problem. But there IS a vice-versa to that.

BTW, a Las Vegan I chat with who says he has had an association with "MadMax" recently told me max has come upon a very unfortunate experience, but wouldn't go into it because he didn't want me to blab about it--and I really couldn't care less about max's circumstances. But whatever it is, it couldn't have happened to a more deserving fellow.

Uh-oh....it looks like redietz couldn't take the heat of the truth, and gave the masses a kew-like exit from VCT today! If he actually is telling the truth this time, kudos to mickey for scrambling red's shrunken brain matter, by getting the biggest sports betting imposter of all time to leave while he is behind.

But is he also gone from here? If not, I'll be glad to send his shrunken head over to Gaming Today for immediate publication. :)

As redietz has now been put into his rightful place of obscurity, the move has shaken poor little kew. He's so distraught that he's once again whining about others and their "immaturity"--including an ethnic blast at Dan Druff for being a Jew. And reading his words, kew thinks Jews belong in ovens? Huh?

Aside from his usual array of jealousy & hate, kew is totally blind to the fact that it is HE who is the greatest stumbling block to his forum utopia. Everywhere he shows up, he brings fighting and arguing, and all because he can't stop himself from telling so many lies and twisted facts. And all THIS bad behavior stems from the fact that he has been caught telling so many embellished and untrue stories about himself. He gets questioned and caught, and the resulting embarrassment and deviation from his intended fake narrative about himself makes the little fairy jump out of his skin in denial! Which, in turn, prompts him to spew more lies about those who have him perfectly pegged. And he goes through this on every forum.

You've seen what the departure of someone like myself has done to a forum. VCT has turned into a low grade show of politics and fools, where an inexperienced idiot like kew believes--like he does about gambling and Las Vegas--that he's a bevy of useful information. :). Yeah right....in his own tiny mind. When he comes up with lies like "mickey, you can pay back all SS you've received and start taking the higher monthly payments by applying again when you hit 70" well, that tells you just about all there is to this clown. Kew you moron, do you ever study anything before making shit up? If a SS recipient starts taking benefits early, they have 12 months to choose to stop the payments in order to restart receiving larger monthly payments by re-applying at 70. There is no "paying back of benefits already received".

Next time, ask a recipient before concocting another section inside your "Make Shit Up" museum.

Today we leave for our annual winter vacation up in Lake Tahoe. We always stay either at the Hyatt in Incline or we get a vacation rental. There's another winter storm warning up there for tonight, which is probably going to make driving from Hawthorne on up a challenge. But that's why we're going--to be in the snow for a change. It's also why I always take a rental car on these trips. They can go anywhere.

V, wanna join us? After all, you're closer to Tahoe than we are, and being such avid out-of-state travelers as you and with never anything to do, this ought to make you feel "alive" again. Just let me know the medical supplies you folks will need along with any senior-assist products, and we'll make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
