MrV, the "loss of income because you can't ply your craft" isn't feasable because casinos have every legal right to ban, bar and trespass a player which would legally prevent them from plying that craft. So how can you sue for damages for something that is legal?

Where this case will turn is with the illegal detention or arrest or even kidnapping. Once casino personal physically grabs hold of a patron, preventing them from leaving, that patron is being illegally detainanded and all those above terms apply.

While an injury occurred, this case will be much more about casino abuse and illegal detention that that injury. Punitive damages will be a bigger number that any real damages.

As far as the fellow lawyer weighing in, being a personal injury attorney, he must be looking through that lens, again, that is not what this case will be about even though an injury occured.

 

And the beauty of any casino abuse case is that the definitive evidence against a casino will be their own security footage. THAT is the great thing about all casino abuse cases.

This episode just exemplifies the whole troll games that these guys play, MrV.

Just look at the last sequence of posts. One guy claims my current trip east is fiction. I immediately post a picture from a casino in Pennsylvania proving him wrong and rather than be a man and admit he was wrong, he disappears like a coward.

Then the other trolls like belly and now Rob follow up with their trolling and homophobic comments, just proving YET AGAIN, that these guy are doing nothing but trolling.

I honestly don't know why I or anyone else bothers with these guys that can't even be honest when they are proven wrong.

As I recall, you said that you went willingly into the back-room. If so, you have no case for forcible confinement, let alone kid-napping. You NEVER EVER go willingly into the back-room with those casino scum-bag, hey hey!!!!

 

"Willingly" mean I didn't kick and scream and try to fight them. Doing that means YOU are creating a disturbance so even while you are in the right...they are justified.

What happened is that on the main floor, in view of everyone, a uniformed security officer grabbed and held my arm, leading me off the casino floor towards a back room.

As soon as he grabbed my arm, I was no longer 'free to leave' and was being illegally detained and illegally held.

 

This isn't going to be a close call. It may take a while but will not be a close call. As soon as casino personnel....uniformed casino personnel, laid hands on me, this is a case they will lose. And the fact that I was injured requiring medical attention at a medical facility only seals the deal.

I am prepared to take this to a jury even at the risk if loss of my anonymity. I have changed my mind on my original position and am determined to re-send the message to the casino industry that they can't do these strongman bully tactics. They have every right to ban or bar a patron....they have no right to physically lay hands on anyone.

That is a lesson they should have learned (and most casinos did) over a decade ago. I guess this location needs to learn it again.

 

According to RobSinger's contact at SouthPoint, this UNKewl incident never happened. All that is notwithstanding the rife with contradictions story that even Dan the Dandruff Man and AxelWolf dismissed as improbable.
