By the way, there's no need for you to "report results" anytime anymore. We've already got the stories down pat: "I started out losing quite a bit, but by the time the weekend was over I ended up slightly ahead". Or....(and we've seen this multiple times also)--"I got killed for the last several months, but I made it all back and more with the wonderful month that just ended!" And, of course, many more that appease all the make-believe kew fans.

Anyway, I will once again explain what everyone already knows. Except the drama queen makes a big tado out of it.

Yes. I started playing blackjack in 1985. Stopped in 1990 to raise my family. Started again in 2008 when youngest started college. Pretty much the same with sports betting. I also bet the horses in the 80's when my Dad was alive.

It was a part of the overall plan. Along with officiating. Working a sales territory. Eventually, I went into biz for myself. That exploded. Thus there was no time or energy to do anything else. Plus my kids were all top notch athletes. So getting them to and from practice and games filled in any free time. They all got scholarships at DI schools.

In 2010, disaster hit with a divorce I never saw coming. The family split apart and I watch 2/3rds of assets built over a 30 years disappear in about 1 year. Wouldve been nice to know Don S at the time. I didnt carry divorce insurance.

The house sold in 2011. I took the proceeds and bought my home to Reno. Turned the biz over to my son. Made a 3 year comeback in officiating. Im happy with the results and profit from blackjack and betting games between 2011 and covid. Not so happy with results after covid.

Make a living? Well, after raising 3 kids and helping them get through college, "a living" isnt too difficult when it's just me. I thought I would once again do something great after the perfect storm in 2010. I think just being happy will have to suffice.

The great or unexpected thing was how my kids went on to be great. That certainly takes the pressure off the days from yesteryear.

I put winnings back into my house and pay the little bills like taxes, insurance, and utilities. I drive an older truck because I like it. Id go on more vacations except I like it here too much to leave.

I hope to make enough at blackjack or sports bets to put in artificial turf next spring. But who knows? I might lose money. If I do, it wont change my lifestyle one bit.

 

The last pay check I received was 1984. After that, there were no guarantees. The ex didnt work or not much. AP is easy. Trying raising a fam. Far more difficult because losing effects everyone.

 

My Dad used to say, "you cant please everyone, so please yourself." Or something to that effect.
He seemed to do that. And everyone liked and respected him. Except mom.

I remember a losing day at the track with him.. Maybe $75. I was thinking how many games Id have to work to get it back. He'd get a kick out of me calling periodically and telling him my bank balance.
Where are you at now son? Oh, Im at $20k and he laugh. But this day he said "son it isnt always going to be straight up. You will having some losing days in your life."

At the time I thought "yeah right." But looking back? Boy was he right.

 

Coach would say "you dont learn about life playing basketball. You learn about basketball playing life."

Samething with blackjack which is why KJ is so easy to read as a liar and a coward.

All the sims, the pactice, the mental preparation are the difference between winning and losing in blackjack. KJ and Zee do none of that. They show up and expect to win. Or in KJ, claim it's his viable resource for making a living.

As Don S once said "he takes one sentence in a book and claim it as the Holy Grail in blackjack." KJ wants/needs everyone to believe.

I could care less. I want to win. Experience doesnt come as much from casino play. It comes from the preparation before you arrive.

For instance, my 2nd to last HS game, we lost in State semi's on a buzzer beater. It was devestating. A beginning to an end so to speak.

The next weekend I was back in the park shooting hoops and playing pick up games from morning until night. Point is, a player just plays. Doesnt talk about it.

And certainly doesnt need others approval. Except for Letter of Intent.

 

Bosox: What KJ failed to mention was his STFU Moses post that started it all.

Why would a big time blackjack player gives two shits about a sweaty red chip casino like El Cortez?

As Ive explained umpteen times Tater at BJ Info was my friend. Im Tater here. And someday KJ will get clocked. No it's not a threat. It wont be my me. It's simply the law of averages and he is way overdue.

We watch out for those who can no longer defend themselves. Sometimes we are not there and an elderly gent gets the crap beat out of him. Usually over something stupid. One was Mike Trout. All the gent said was "you must not know baseball" because the punk said he should NL MVP.

Ive curtail my visits considerably to sportsbooks as per advice from Bosox. I havent been diwntown in months.

 

So tell me. When did it change? That punks can verbally and physically abuse elderly.

And you have told multiple lies just today in the last few posts. I practice nearly every day or at least 6 days a week. I have a blackjack table in the corner of my living room and sit and deal cards (occasionally someone else deals to me) while I watch some sports game on TV. I also use simulations...more than most players I suspect. I bought Qfit products back in Philadelphia and use it regularly. I used it to devise my game plan for Vegas. I use it to know just what expectation I have for every different game, set of rules and penetration. When I experience a large loss or win, I use it to see just how many S.D. from expectation those results are.

You also have repeatedly lied, or insinulated that because I play El Cortez, I play low limits. Have YOU ever played El Cortez? Are you aware they have $25 minimum tables at all times and on Saturday nights and other busy times, even $50 minimum tables? I basically play my regular limits at EC (slightly smaller max bet) and it happens to be one of the best games in Las Vegas and despit the reputation, if you play shorts sessions they are fairly tolerant most of the time.

And finally, this tater nonsense. You are only digging a deeper hole for yourself. There is not a single person alive that has read Moses and tater posts that doesn't know they are the same person. Same exact writing style. Same exact bravado threats. Same exact everything.

I played today. I see KJ spent his umpteenth day in a row fretting over nothing and talking nonsense.

No time to play. Ler alone chase variance with a weak/wrong count on various forums.

 

This is simply a lie Moses. I left my home about 1:30pm today and returned home just before 8pm. I also played every day over the 4 day weekend, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, one of those being overnight play.

The 'time stamps' on the posts on this forum are off by 7 or 8 hours....are you aware of that? And off by an hour at the other forum you are monitoring my posts.
