It was more like being on scholarship in college.

All I had to was study, practice, and win. The dollars took care themselves. Had all the comps I needed. Very happy with the time invested and return over a decade. All thought I can't compete with my house.

The UNKewl one declares, once again! that he is DONE at the VCT forum: there is just no reason for me, or anyone for that matter, but I will only speak for myself, to participate here any more. Absolutely no value of any kind.

This was posted yesterday on VCT by kewlj referring to MDawg: "I thought about going after him with gun in hand, but came to my senses." Came to his senses? No one with any sense would even think about saying anything like that...especially after all the tragedies we're seeing on the news. Does anyone else see a "red flag" here?

 

Seriously, UNKewl's post shows how he is mentally deranged, and should be locked up for his own protection and that of others.

People have been locked up for less. You know...for the most part, I've been cordial to the guy but this clinches it. Why anyone would want anything to do with him is beyond me. Now watch him come back and say we're haters. That's his go to answer whenever his feathers get ruffled.

Fire-Poker Zen



Hakuin used to tell his pupils about an old woman who had a teashop, praising her understanding of Zen. The pupils refused to believe what he told them and would go to the teashop to find out for themselves.

Whenever the woman saw them coming she could tell at once whether they had come for tea or to look into her grasp of Zen. In the former case, she would server them graciously. In the latter, she would beckon to the pupils to come behind her screen. The instant they obeyed, she would strike them with a fire-poker.
