Double oi. The argument, if you want to call it that, is the same as always. Incompetent mods who can't or won't control things...who would rather suspend rather than correct or guide. Who lie in wait for someone to make a mistake so they can drop the "banhammer". I could write a long, detailed post on this but I think everyone gets it by now. Good mods have the tools to keep things going properly without suspending...bad mods suspend. It really is that simple.

I've got to mention ontariodealer. I can't resist. The guy shares a bowel movement experience with the board and gets suspended. A normal bodily function that you know who couldn't handle. And here everyone thought WOV was a feces friendly site. Aren't there multiple threads on this very subject? They even incorporate it into math problems. Is WOV no longer a feces friendly site?

 

Speaking of true counts, has this site even been visited by 13,309 unique people?

Also worthy of note, this thread boasts over 17.5% (as of the time of this post) of all of the posts on this entire forum. That means that WizardofVegas (another gambling forum) is the core subject matter for damn near one in five posts on this forum. I'll let that speak for itself.

So, you have WoV where, across our 571,000+ posts and almost 28,000 threads, we have had a few threads devoted to talking about the types of women we find attractive and our favorite physical aspects of women. In comparison, here on GF, we have old Freddy and BWC who admit to repeatedly bashing the physical appearance of a past middle aged woman and want to disregard it as, 'Just a silly name.'

Do both of these things objectify women? That's not for me to give an answer. However, if they do objectify women, I would say one thing comes with the intent of being a positive discussion, and the other...well, it is Freddy, after all.

Its like working in a restaurant in vegas, and going to a website called "vegas dining" and seeing your restaurants service and food be negatively critiqued ...and then bragging look at all the attention I get.

So they want to be objectified in these cases. So ANYONE including freddy is giving them the attention they seek. Sometimes it backfires for them...sometims the attention is not what they envisioned/

Oh yes you could argue that the name "hotblonde" could be a man and says nothing about being a woman.... or Beachbumbabs gives you personally the image of a grandma knitting on the beach while her grandchildren play in the sand. But that is nonsense.

They provide the imagery and therefore can be lampooned for their efforts.

Heck, MrV dubbed Hotblonde.......Fatblonde. Totally fair game. She put herself out there. She could have called herself "gambler 1188"...but she wanted to draw attention to her appearance on a site that had nothing to do with appearance.
And BBB gave herself a moniker that also had nothing to do with gambling. But she wanted to give the imagery of a female on the beach....on a site that had nothing to do with gender or beaches.

And I repeat myself....If beached whale treated others with compassion and respect and wasnt so bitter and angry....the the nick name would not stick
Once, over a year ago I called Face...Fuckface out of anger one time....it was a mistake, and based on his honorable behavior, that name didnt stick. In fact in a post that got me suspended I told manboy that a successful businessman surrounds himself with competent people and that face was a good start. So Face doesnt get a nickname because he treats people consistently with respect.

So SHE gave us her screen name, and SHE treats people bitterly with little respect.......so SHE made her bed and now sleeps in it.

so its not about freddy....dont make it about him, or me or others who use the name beached whale or fatblonde......they brought it on themselves with their screeen names and more importantly their actions on the board.
And I STRESS.....their actions.
without their actions......the nicknames are hollow.

I'm not bragging, I'm making a point. Sure, most of the posts in this regard are made to disparage WoV, I don't recall denying that or speaking to the contrary. My point is that if there is a site that is either unimportant to me, or a site that I don't like, I might make a handful of posts about it. More likely the case, I'll ignore it entirely.

My point is here you have a gambling forum where nearly 20% of the posts are talking about another gambling forum. Is this an actual gambling forum or a review site? This, 'Vegas Dining,' you speak of sounds like it would be some sort of review site, with that explicit purpose. The purpose of this site should be mainly to be a forum for gambling, but it is, to a large extent, a WoV review forum.

I still don't believe that BeachBumBabs implies anything sexual, unless you are suggesting that the mere act of being a woman with a handle clearly denoting same is sexual. Is a handle definitively indicating that one is a man automatically made to sexually draw women?

I have no counterargument with the other two, in fact, I think it is pretty well-documented what JJ's purposes there were.

Is the definition of, 'Sticking,' now four or five people using it and refusing to drop it?

Yes, that was a nasty thing I said. I was trying to make a point, that I and others can say nasty things just to be mean as you do, with no regards for anyone's feelings. Obviously like most things that point was lost on you.

Instead it is just another thing that you will repeat and reference 100 times. Just like your 'customer service' point and some of your points from the "professional" discussion, you repeat and repeat the same points over and over again.
